Sa pagpatak ng oras ay ikaw

Ang iniisip isip ko

I was looking at the most beautiful woman I ever laid my eyes on.

Ikaw ang pinangarap ngarap ko

Simula ng matanto

Na balang araw iibig ang puso

 

I felt my tears roll down my face. Im happy. Im the happiest man alive right now.

Ikaw ang pag-ibig na hinintay

Puso ay nalumbay ng kay tagal

Ngunit ngayo’y nandito na ikaw

 

Ikaw ang pagibig na binigay

Sa sakin ng may kapal

Biyaya ka sa buhay ko, ligaya’t pagibig ko’y ikaw

 

She’s my happiness, my love, my life, my entire world.

I didn’t plan on falling for her. My plan was for her to fall for me. But it backfired. I fell for her. Deep.

Nasaktan ko siya. I lost count kung ilang beses ko na ba siyang nasaktan. Unconsciously and consciously.

But she never gave up on me.

Lagi niya kong binibigyan ng chance para patunayan na mahal ko siya.

Tinapik ni Dad yung balikat ko. “Be a good husband son. And a good father, even though I failed to do so.”

I cried more hearing my dad. Lagi siyang wala para sakin, lagi silang wala ni Mommy. Lagi silang busy sa negosyo. I grew up feeling as if I dont have a parent. Kahit graduation ko, lagi silang wala. Makikita ko lang sila pag uuwi sila dito tapos aalis din naman agad sila.

I promise myself I wont let my children experience that kind of pain. Masakit na parang walang magulang na nagmamahal sayo.

I made a promise to myself. My family will always go first. They will always be my first priority.

 

Nakarating na sa harap ko si Ysabel, sila Tito Liam at si Tita Lexi.

“Take care of my princess, Zandrick.” Sabi ni Tito Liam sakin.

I nodded at took Ysabel’s hand. I kissed it and looked at Tito Liam. “Yes Tito. I promise.”

“Call me Dad.” He said.

I hugged him and Tita Lexi. Mas naramdaman ko pang naging magulang sakin sila Tito Liam at Tita Lexi kaysa sa sarili kong magulang. And Im thankful for them.

“Thank you po.”

“You may now kiss the bride.”

The wedding passed by like a blur. I was happy.

I love this woman beside me. Yun lang ang nasa isip ko buong kasal.

I leaned forward. “I love you Misis ko.” I said before kissing her.

We parted a few moments after. “I love you more Mister ko.”

“I love you most.”
