Chapter P

 

I woke up with the sight of this handsome man lying beside me. He’s here, on my bed, in my condo.

I traced his eyes, to his nose down to his lips. I cant believe he’ll be mine officially tomorrow.

Isang araw nalang at ikakasal na kami. We’ve been planning for this wedding for almost a year. Gusto ko kasi grand wedding, pang wedding of the year. Siya naman sinusuportahan lang yung gusto ko. Kahit anong kasal daw okay lang sakanya, basta ako ang papakasalan.

Hell and his cheesy lines.

Nagulat ako ng bigla niya kong halikan. “Matunaw ako Future Mrs. ko.”

Hinampas ko ng mahina yung dibdib niya. I lied in his chest. “Gising ka na pala.”

Naramdaman ko yung labi niya sa tuktok ng ulo ko. “Yes. Good morning.”

I closed my eyes. This is where I belong. In his arms.

“Di ba talaga pwedeng dito nalang ako?” He asked me as he plays with my hand.

I leaned my head and kissed his shoulders. “Hindi pwede love. Dont worry, starting tomorrow, Im all yours.”

Nandito na kami ngayon sa garden ng bahay namin. Hinatid niya ko dito kanina at dito narin siya nagbreakfast. Gusto ko kasi dito ako manggagaling before the wedding. At kailangan niya na nga umalis maya-maya dahil naniniwala ako sa mga pamahiin, kaya hindi kami pwede magkita the night before the wedding, and that’s tonight.

“Okay mahal ko.” He’s been calling me that ever since I gave him another chance.

He’s been the sweetest fiance ever. Ayaw niya na daw magkahiwalay ulit kami. Ayaw ko nadin naman eh.

Nakatingin lang kami sa parents kong masayang nagkukulitan sa loob ng bahay.

“Alam mo sana matulad tayo kila Mommy.” I started. “Ang dami nilang pinagdaanan but they ended up having each other. They ended up with a happy family.”

“We will have ours soon mahal ko. We’ll live in our own castle. You’ll be the queen and I’ll be the king. Together we’ll make princes and princesses.” He said before he leaned and gave me a sweet kiss.

“Thank you.” He said right after we parted.

“For what?”

“For giving me a chance. For not giving up on me. For loving me. Thank you mahal ko.”

“I love you.” I said and kissed his lips. “So damn much.”

“You look perfect princess.” Sabi ni Dad pagpasok niya ng kwarto ko.

Nanatili yung mata ko sa salamin sa harap ko. Im really getting married today.

 

“And soon, you’ll be the queen of your own home.” Mangiyak ngiyak na sabi ni Mommy.

I faced them and hugged both of them. “I love you both.”

“We love you too anak. We’re happy for you.” Sabi ni Mommy.

Umalis sila sa pagkakayakap. “Someone wants to talk to you.”

Lumabas sila ng kwarto ko at nakita kong pumasok si Kuya Nate. He smiled.

“Ang ganda ng prinsesa ko.” His voice cracked.

I reached for him and hugged him.

“Kahit pa may asawa ka na, ako parin ang prinsipe mo ha. Tss. Mamimiss ko asarin ka. Mamimiss ko yung pagiyak mo sakin pag may problema ka. Mamimiss kita princess.” Sabi niya.

Naiyak narin ako.

Kuya Nate’s the best brother anyone could ever have.

“I love you Kuya.” Was the only thing I could say. My emotions are all over the place. Im sad, but mostly, Im happy.

Im thankful I grew up with a happy and loving family.

And now, Im about to build my own family. I’ll build my own happy and loving family.
