Chapter 17

Lucy P.O.V.

Yes! Me and Natsu are back together! I acted the whole thing out so that Natsu can be with me. Yippee!! I went to the bed and continued to play with Wendy. After the days went by, Friday finally came. After school, Natsu waited for me. He was sitting on a bench. When he saw me, he stood up.

"An hour? Literally, what took you so long?"

"Varsity team, sorry"

"It's fine... Come on, the mall might be full for tomorrow"

We ran to the mall which was the nearest to school. When we opened the entrance door, there was plenty of people. I ran to my favorite shop stop.

I opened the red door and saw a few people. I relaxed when I arrived. The fragrance of the shop was sweet and elegant like their dresses. Natsu sat on a fluffy chair and waited for me. So, I headed towards the colors I've decided to use. I love blue! I saw blue dresses that were so elegant. But I wanted a blue short dress which is at my knee length. I wanted a mix of gold or silver on it. I would wear a high heeled shoes which I think would be gold or silver kind. When I saw at least 2 dresses I liked, I tried it on first. One of it that had a gold lining was to tight.

The other dress was perfect! It was not knee length, it was a gown. There was a silver wheat kind of design on it which made it look like a goddess. It would match with my high heeled silver shoes. I bought it for $100, pricey! Natsu was patient today. I carried my paper bag containing the dress. I held Natsu's hand and went to eat lunch first. After the full lunch we had, we went to explore the crowded mall. It was cool inside. The air condition was very cold and there was plenty of peeps. After a while of exploring, me and Natsu decided to go home. When we arrived at home, we went to our rooms. We chatted using our sketchpads by writing on it. When the clock struck 7:00 pm, I had to bathe. I waved first to Natsu and took a bath. After the bath, it was refreshing. The water was warm and I relaxed in the bubbles. I quickly got out of the tub and changed into my pj's. When I went to the window to talk to N, he was not there. There was a message taped on the window saying: bathing 2. I lay down on the bed first, waiting. After a whole while of waiting, Natsu arrived. He was in his usual t-shirt and shorts for sleeping. He waved a hi to me but wrote on the sketch pad:

Good night! You need some beauty sleep for prom.

I nodded in return. I lay down and faced the window. Natsu faced me as well. He winked at me then fell fast asleep.
