What the actual fuck is he doing to me?
When Tom invited me to a photo shoot, I agreed instantly, happy he had wanted me to be there. That had been about a week ago and I was currently regretting wanting to come. I had always known my boyfriend was attractive, sexy even. But seeing him standing in the sun while a photographer from GQ Magazine had him pose in different outfits with his dark curls and wide smile made me feel like I was melting.
I had been dazed all day, unable to help the direction my thoughts were heading as I watched Tom change outfits again, positive he was trying to kill me. My head tilted of its own accord, my bottom lip stuck between my teeth as I watched Tom walk around in the sand barefoot, running his hand through his hair as he asked for a quick break. At the approval of his team, Tom turned and jogged towards the tent that was providing me shade as I sat next to the snack tables and coolers full of water and drinks. I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't even notice Tom standing in front of me until I heard his voice say my name, concern laced within it as he crouched down in front of my chair to meet my eyes.
"Y/N. Hey baby, you okay?" Tom's voice was urgent with good reason, I had a love hate relationship with being out in the heat. I also had an unfortunate history of not telling him when I was getting too hot and then passing out from heat exhaustion. It had only happened twice since Tom and I had been dating, but that was plenty of times for Tom to be on high alert anytime we were in the sun for an extended amount of time.
"Maybe I shouldn't have asked you to come," Tom began fretting, moving to grab a water bottle from the cooler next to me. He looked around, searching for something, before unbuttoning his red and white patterned shirt and pulling it completely off, making me suck in a breath, my eyes wide. He poured some of the water onto his now balled up shirt, cursing himself quietly as he reached to press the cool, damp fabric to my face.
"Darling, I need you to talk to me, I don't want you fainting, love. You need to say something so I know that's not happening," Tom implored.
"Why are you so hot?" I demanded.
"Oh thank Go- wait what?" Tom said, confused. "Are you having a heatstroke? I heard that can make you talk like you're drugged. Maybe I should have them resched-"
"Tommy," I giggled a little, "I'm not going to pass out, babe, I promise." I reached out and ran my fingers through his curls, getting distracted with how soft they were. I loved his hair.
"You're sure you're okay?" Tom asked, the worried expression on his face making my heart beat increase. He handed me the water bottle and flattened the shirt out before pulling it back on, not bothering to button it back up. I nodded vigorously, biting my lip again as I got distracted by his abs that were basically right in front my face. I'm sure my face was flushed beyond belief, so I quickly took a sip of water, trying to hide how flustered I was. My attempt to hide my red cheeks failed to fool Tom, however, who now had a wide grin spreading across his face as he stood in front of me.
Fuck. He knows. I'm never going to hear the end of this now.
"Y/N I know I'm a catch, but did I really turn you on so much that you almost passed out?"
"Fuck off, Tom," I huffed out, standing from my chair and turning around to get away from him. "I wasn't about to pass out."
"So I did turn you on!" Tom chortled, skipping to catch up with me.
I stomped ahead, hoping to find anyone to talk to that wasn't my sexually frustrating boyfriend. As Tom continued to tease me, a sudden idea struck me. I spun around, Tom nearly running me over because of how focused he was on being annoying.
"Tommy, will you do something for me?"
Tom gave me a distrustful look, his hands dropping from my side where he had caught me to prevent me from falling. I smiled up at him innocently, gripping the water bottle in my hand tightly, slowly unscrewing the cap without him noticing.
"What do you need me to do?"
"Bend down a little, your hair is messed up."
Tom crouched a little, still eyeing me suspiciously. I draped my hand that held the water bottle over his shoulder and flipped the now loose cap off of the top, trying to keep the triumph out of my eyes as I brought my free hand up to brush Tom's curls back away from his forehead. His eyes studied my face, a small smile on his lips at my close proximity. I smiled back, before emptying my water bottle over his head and darting away from him, laughing hysterically at his betrayed expression.
Tom stood there for a moment, watching me run away towards where the photographer had set up on the wooden walkway. He then took off after me, a determined look on his face as I shrieked, looking over my shoulder to see that he was too close. I tried to run faster, but Tom caught up easily, picking me up and spinning me around, both of us laughing.
"Tom, you look great! Like you just got out of the water! Come stand over here for a few more shots and you'll be done!"
Tom set me down, bending to press a kiss on my forehead before turning to go stand where the photographer was motioning. I caught his wrist in my hand, tugging him back to me so I could whisper what I had wanted to tell him all day.
"Since you're just about finished here, I'm gonna head back to the hotel. When you get done, come straight back to the room," I murmured, watching a slow grin spread across Tom's lips. I rose up to my toes so that my mouth was right next to his ear for the next part. "I am going to lick your abs because I have been dying to do that all day and I can probably be persuaded to use my mouth for other things as well, if you're interested."
Tom's eyes went wide, his pupils widening as his grin stretched impossibly wide. I couldn't help but pull him down for a kiss, his hands falling to rest on my ass, giving it a slight squeeze before I pulled away when the photographer called his name again. I blushed and smiled, having momentarily forgotten that we were still in public. Tom pecked my lips once more before giving me a cheeky grin and jogging away.
I quickly made my way back to the tent to grab my things, catching Haz's gaze as he gave me a knowing eye roll and I flipped him off with grin, making my way to the car. I glanced back at my boyfriend one last time, seeing him posing with sunglasses on now. I couldn't wait for Tom to get done with this shoot. I smiled to myself as the car pulled away, thinking about just how lucky I was to get to love Tom Holland.
