They didn't even realize when both of them doze off, or who was the first one to gain a slumber. It was about 2 in midnight when Zac woke up, blinking away to clear his vision, he felt a weight on his side of shoulder, slightly turning away his face he analyzed how Jess was engaged in a deep sleep.
The corner of his eyes crinkled as he placed his arm around her to make her feel more comfortable.

His eyes narrowed to slits, as if he is trying to memorize every inch of her, fingers trailing down the mole on her lower lips, to the tip of her chin pushing a hair strand behind her ear, it was almost too much to take in that how perfectly her face fits around his hand. He didn't care if it was the alcohol or Jess who made him feel intoxicated.
He leaned closer and kissed her lips, and he wouldn't ever have imagined how his body would respond to this sensation, it was like his heart could melt right away for just this one person.
"What the hell was I doing? " he pulled away and quickly took a glance at her and she was still sleeping, shutting his eyes closed he tried to make a sense of this situation, but these feelings didn't demand sensibility at all.
"It wouldn't be greedy if I could take another one" he whispered to himself before leaning in again. Biting on his lips he inched closer, closing the small gap between them, placing his thumb beneath her ears , he closed his eyes feeling himself smiling.
He pulled away and Jess was still asleep, she groaned and moved her head closer to his neck, maybe all the odds were being in his favor.
He put his hands over his heart and looked at the sky while sighing heavily, if anyone would see him right now, he'd be considered as retarded.
He was grinning so brightly that it looked as if his cheeks would just burst. He closed his eyes, a twinkle evident on his face , His heart beat was not normal at all, things have been so wild lately, that he couldn't spare sometime to think about them.
"I'll do it next time when you're conscious I promise" he took her hand in his embrace and kissed her forehead.
