8:00 a.m 

Jess squinted her eyes as the rays of sun entered through the spaces between curtains, a slight groan was heard from behind her,  an arm pulled her more tightly. 

Apparently she was sleeping on the couch with Zac curled up behind her, as this cottage belonged to his uncle, so he insisted her to stay over.

She turned around, so that now she was facing him, he was holding her in such a way that prevented her from falling down the couch. Tracing her fingers through his hair down to his jaw she couldn't help but admire him, if someone would tell her past self about the things happening right now she would probably punch that person right on face. 

Her hand rested beneath his cheek as she continued staring at him, he placed a kiss on the palm of her hand. 

"I would have never thought my morning can be so beautiful" he said with his eyes half closed,

"you don't even need your consciousness to flirt" she pulled herself back which was so close to the edge of couch, before she could fall he grasped her.

"But you like it though"

Red tints of blush crept on her face prompting a smile on his face automatically.

Finally his time of waits have ended, he could feel her right beside him smiling, and the thing which makes him more relieved was that she was happy because of him.

Joohyun exited out of the building with her violin hanging on the left shoulder, A figure straightened in front of him, causing her to gasp.

"Come on, Why do you always appear like that out of blue" She stared at the boy standing in front of him. 

"So you're not planning on doing anything about that" Dany asked her, she gave a lifeless chuckle which didn't go unnoticed by him. 

"I am sorry to say but it's none of your concerns"

This cause him to stop on his track, he was kinda pissed off, How can a person behave like that in such a complicated situation.

"Why are you pretending to be all to cool , it just makes you look pathetic you know that right"

She was shocked on his comments, pausing her steps she turned around and seethed her teeth.

"Think what you want to" 

She was about to move forward when he grabbed her wrist. After exhaling his breathe he fixed his gaze on her. 

"I am sorry I shouldn't have said that, I've been at your place, I can help you" 

He spoke in a voice she couldn't decipher, she turned around only to be met by a gaze she hadn't received in a while, it showed genuine concerns, which caught her off-guard.
She didn't even know his full name, yet he was ready to risk himself for her.

"Why do you want to help me?"  her voice showed curiosity and a bit of fear,
Dany took a step forward.

"Because I know how it feels like to suffer alone." 

For her everything about her life was limited, she never let anyone know about her concerns but for a moment she felt a need to be protected, she didn't even knew for how long she held her breath.

"I need your help."

The practice was over and every one was taking a rest, Halsey tossed a bottle towards Jess.

She was in the midst of opening the cap when a hand snaked around her waist causing her to choke, she immediately pulled away and parted from him. 

"What are you doing" She whisper shouted at him, a frown was visible on his face.

"Was last night a dream " he questioned himself causing her to chuckle a bit, 

"You can't do anything here," She said strictly and passed the bottle to him. 

"So where can I do anything then" He said sheepishly while biting his lips and she tried her best not to smile. He leaned forward towards her 

"Meet me outside in 5 minutes" he grabbed his jacket and walked out. 

Joohyun was marching along the corridor when the dorm manager crossed her path, she stopped on her track. 

"What are you doing here at this time " Joohyun immediately clasped her stomach. 

"I have an upset stomach so I'm walking around a bit" the manager gave her a questionable look, and she quickly mask her face in a most painful look she could ever have, she winced and crouched down, luckily the female get impressed by her acting and turned around causing her to sigh.

"Where are you Jess?"

 Consequently, she heard ignition of a bike, leaving the corridor she ran towards the window.Jess took off the helmet, and turned around while setting her hair when Zac grabbed her hand. 

"Are you just gonna go? " he said in a quite tone but the playfulness was evident.

She stared in the midst of air and smiled 

"So what should I do then?" her voice was a mask of innocence causing him to pull her by waist, his fingers tucked her hair behind her ear. 

After wetting his lips he started to leaned towards her when something was thrown over his head, His playfulness fell away like a discarded cloak, with a mad look he turned towards the direction of distraction and it was Joohyun who was muttering something.

Jess started to laugh while he ignored Joohyun and aimed for her mouth once again.

"Hurry up she is on rounds" Joohyun yelled from the window, causing Jess to straighten up quickly, receiving a groan.

"Could you just spare me a minute" he said it too fast and too loudly signalling Joohyun to shut her mouth.

His hand traveled back towards her waist when Joohyun threw something on him again.

Jess turned her attention towards the silhouette standing on the edge of dorms, she quickly removed his hand and paced towards the window, since they were on ground level so she can easily climb through the window. 

Zac left a heavy sigh and looked down, suddenly a kiss was placed on his cheeks. 

"I had fun , good night"

Jess said hastily and gave him a smile before turning back towards the window, his lips curved upwards spawning a twinkle on his face.

That night both of them slept peacefully without any regrets, hate or confusion.
