"Change"

Jess locked the door and peeked through the hallway, they were not allowed to exit after 8:00 p.m, she tip-toed towards the entrance and escaped successfully.

At the mean time she heard some footsteps, the dorm manager used to take strolls before locking the gates, Jess had a surge of panic attack when suddenly she was pulled sideways, she opened her mouth but a hand suddenly captured it.

"It's me don't worry" Zac turned her around causing her to sigh in relive, she took few steps back to maintain some distance as she was practically pressed against him causing him to tighten his embrace around her.

"Quit trying, I didn't even started yet" she gave him a glare and received a cheeky smile in return, he removed his hand from her mouth and fixed few strands of her hair, both of them departed out of the dorm. 

CHAPTER 17 : CHANGE

Standing in front of an arcade Jess was biting her lips to stop herself from smiling but failed miserably. She left his hand and entered inside while grinning like a 5 year old child who just received there favorite candy. Zac kept staring at her, it was for the first time that she was finally smiling because of him. 

"Zac I wanted to come here since like forever" She squealed and turned towards him.

"I know that" he said as a matter of fact, while shrugging his shoulder.

She gave him a look ,how come he knows everything about her and she doesn't know anything about him beside his name. 

Just when she was immersed in her thoughts two males waved towards them.

"What are you guys doing here" Dany tried to initiate a conversation giving Jess glances, she was dressed in lavender shirt tucked in her black jeans.

"Well I can finally say we are here on a date " Zac held Jess's hand and surprisingly she responded to him, causing a faint smile on his face.

"Okay so we will excuse you two love birds." Liam said sheepishly and turned around when Dany interrupted.

"Or we can join you together" How much Zac wanted to smack him right on the face but he held back.

"Oh come on just one game, let's go for the laser shooting game" Dany insisted causing Zac to glare at him and he just smiled.

"Okay then, either ways I'm going to whoop your asses , cause I'm the best in this game." Jess said it nonchalantly receiving a husky chuckle beside her.

"Oh Zac is best in this game " Dany said abruptly.

"So what I'll defeat him as always" she replied causing Zac to smirk. 

"We'll see about that" listening to this she turned her whole attention towards him.

 "Don't challenge me Zac " he patted her hair and she immediately removed his hand. Situation was quite amusing, Dany and Liam wanted to grab a box of pop-corn and a comfortable sofa, they could watch it all night.

"You two should decide it on a bet" Liam proposed, and Jess found it interesting. 

"Okay then, if I won then you'd buy me ttaekbokki, it's famous Korean food"she suggested causing him to chuckle

"Whats there to laugh about " Jess asked while folding her arms.

"I didn't knew it was that easy to win you over, just food" Zac extended his hand to pinch her cheeks but she shoved it away. 

"We'll see it when your wallet would be empty" Zac smiled once again 

"you're just like a peanut , how much could you actually eat" he now folded his arms imitating her, she raised her eyebrows as if challenging him,

"What's your deal?" she questioned him

"I'll get to kiss you simple!" Zac said it out of blue receiving 'ooh' from there friends.

"Deal".

Soon they were entering the cabin while picking there guns, the games was easy if a person shoots someones gun, they are out. The last one to survive is the winner.

As soon as the game started, Jess took a shot over Dany's gun, a call was made
"Player Handsome has been shot" she waved him with a smug on her face.

' who says I'm not the best here' she boosted.

Finally only Jess and Zac were left in the caben, now she has to find Zac and kill him as simple as that, she strolled towards the dark end corner when she saw someone moving.

Standing beside the wall, she become alarmed when she felt hot breathes on her neck, as soon as she turned around to shoot him, he held her hands and pushed her near the wall,she dropped her gun as he started to lean forward. 

"Player Black widow has been shot" the announcement called Jess looked at Zac while frowning, she was puzzled while Zac?,
He was keenly staring at her as his gun was pressed on the side of her waist.

"Damn it Zac , that's cheating-I- I really thought you were about to-" she was stuttering and he seems to enjoy the view in front of him, he quickly leaned forward and kissed her.

"That I were about to kiss you" he finished her sentence.

Jess wanted to dug a hole right now, she seethed her teeth. A laugh was heard on the other side.

"Oh my God , now I need holy water to wash my eyes" Dany placed his fingers on her eyes and Liam was constantly laughing.

Zac removed his hand from her side and she immediately ran out of the cabin.

After exiting from the arcade game Zac proposed to have a dinner together so they were walking side by side on the streets, Jess couldn't help but pace faster then him, in attempt to ignore him but were odds ever in her favor?

"Well , did you see what I did there" Zac said cockily and she shut her eyes closed
'shut up shut up shut up' .

"It's atleast clear now, that I'm changing that decision of yours right? " For a second she stopped and looked at him. 

"I changed my mind I'm going home" she said in an attempt to change the topic. 

"Oh! what a waste I was deciding on having ttaekbokki" she immediately halted. 

"If you think you change my mind" she folded her hands
"then you're right let's go." a grin evaded her face

It was a different aura of her, he always used to see her joking around and being all happy with Dany, Lily and even Joohyun in Seoul, but only smile she would gave him would be mocking ones. 

For the first time he get to see this sight and he couldn't help but end up smiling to such extent that his cheeks were glowing with a tint of red.

There she was walking by the street with the person she used to despise the most, and she didn't even realize how quickly things have changed for her.There was a time when his name would cause a disgust to appear on her face, but now she was ready for a change.

A change that will cause a new beginning to initiate, a change for good.
