Introduction

Hey guys, Sara here!

Cabin 4 was 100% my idea. It was an idea for a while now, and I finally decided to start writing the book.

Remember, constructive feedback is always welcome. Please pardon the mistakes and politely message either me, @SaraBookLover20, if there are any. I'm sure there will be several but please bare with me; it is a work in progress. To message me through wattpad, follow me. (Don't worry, I always follow you back. ;)

All your votes and support are really appreciated.

*If you would like to design a cover for this book, tell me (by messaging) that you have a cover and I will gladly give you my email. Please do not send rude or impractical prank emails or else I will not give you the slightest chance of having your cover chosen AND I will report you. I would love a beautiful cover (better than the one I already designed) and will dedicate a chapter to you if your cover is chosen!

A huge, huge thank you to everyone who's already read, voted, commented, or shared. Your support is amazing! Also, thanks for being patient, I know that there will be a few short updates. I really love your feedback, so don't be a silent reader! <3

Last but not least, thank you so much for checking out Cabin 4.
Enjoy reading! ;)

"GO......TO......SLEEP..." the eerie voice said. As I woke up, my body trembling and sweat running down my face, the voices rang through my ears. I could still picture the young girl's body, how much I wanted to save her, how much I wanted her to live. But I knew I couldn't.

You can't change the past...

I woke up at around 4:00 a.m, but I couldn't fall asleep again. I waited until 6:00 A.M. to get out of bed. I know I am already 18 years old, but I don't care. The hallucinations would return if I slept. Then Alyssa would come back for me, and continue haunting my dreams.

I didn't say a word as I ate my breakfast. My mother, a pretty brunette with chocolate brown eyes, was staring at me. I am an only child. My dad abandoned us when I was 5. I know, my life sucks.

"I'm going out." I said while walking out of the house. "Wait, please Alexandra! You're gone everyday, and I am always alone. I don't know what has gotten into you..." she trailed off.

I stared at her, then I stormed off, feeling the hot tears burn behind my eyes. "Get it together, Alex!" I muttered under my breath. I don't know why these stupid words effected me so much. I just couldn't cry in front of my mom. I couldn't...

As I walked outside, I felt the cool air on my skin. Most people think I am mental, or that I'm depressed, but I'm not. It's not me, it's not my fault, and I'm not depressed.

I wish I could explain it to everyone. But I can't. They would think I was crazy. I felt the stares as I walked past the grocery store. I wasn't actually headed toward the park. I was meeting up with my friend, Derek. He has the same problem as I do. The nightmares, the voices, the images... My thoughts trailed off as I saw him near the abandoned woods.

"What are we doing today Mr. Derek?" I said playfully. "You always have some daring thing planned for me. I am obviously your favorite person in the whole world!"

"Haha, sure Alex." He replied with a chuckle. He had toned, defined muscles. He looked strong. Hopefully strong enough to protect me if something happened--

"You there?" He said. "Oh and we are going to the cabin."

I grinned, flashing my "I'm a Daredevil" smile. "Ok then." I said, "Let's do it."

We slowly walked toward the abandoned cabin. It wasn't too far away, probably a good ten minute walk. We teased each other while heading towards our hangout area. But before I could say another witty joke, I stopped, dead in my tracks. She was hanging from the tree, as I screamed. I could see Derek's concerned face as everything went black.
