~Alyssa's POV~

I pointed in front of us, and nudged Derek to look too. He started to stand up, and we both walked toward the door. We hid there for a few seconds until suddenly, a pile of dirt filled the hole that we entered from. I panicked, realizing we were trapped.

"Derek!" I said, pounding on the door. His eyes were full of shock.

He searched the room for anything useful to get out, and all he found was a crowbar and a lollipop. As he hit the door harder and harder, barely even making a dent, I sighed in frustration and grabbed the crowbar from him.

"We're never getting out of here..." He mumbled. I shot him a glare.

"Don't say that! We'll find a way out..." I snap at him. He smirks as if to say, yeah right.

I walked away, trying hard to find something to get out of here. It was useless.

At least there was some food in here--

Suddenly the lights turned out just as I was about to grab something to eat. "Ugh!" I yelled.

Derek shushed me, and tip toed towards the door. "I hear voices," he whispers.

It's true, quiet voices murmuring something I don't understand were coming from just out side the door.

I gulped and tried to find some sort of light source, and thankfully there was a few matches in the cabinet. I lit one, and and put the rest in my pocket of my, now dirt-covered, jeans.

I wiped my sweaty palms against my jeans and continued searching for something--anything--to use to get out of here.

I slowly walked towards the bathroom and opened the door.

I stepped inside and took a look at myself in the mirror. The girl staring back at me shocked me, she was so grown up and so...filthy.

Jeez, I thought. When was the last time I took a shower?

I sighed and walked out of the bathroom. I silently walked back towards what looked like the living room. "Well, I guess there is no way out of--"

I screamed as I fell down the hole. I hit the ground with a thud. "Ugh." I said as my bottom hit the dirt. "Alyssa...?" Derek said while looking down the hole.

I nodded, letting him know I was okay. Then, I got up and realized there was a small staircase leading to the top. A grin grew across my face as I gestured Derek to come down here and walked towards the stairs.

"Ow," Derek said as his bottom hit the dirt with a thud. I smiled and grabbed his wrist to pull him up towards the stairs.

Once I reached the top of the staircase, I silently ran back to the cabin, hoping we were safe.

As I realized there were two cabins, I asked, "What does Cabin 4 mean? There aren't any other cabins except for this one..."

He shrugged and we carefully entered the creepy cabin. "Why can't we hide in Cabin 4?"

He sighed and said, "Look, we really don't know, okay?"

I nodded and lied down on a small bed. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

~Derek's POV~

I couldn't get myself to fall asleep. I was too worried about Alex. What if she is in pain? Where is she? What are they doing to her? Who is they?

Millions of questions invaded my mind, one after another, causing me a headache. I sighed and lay there, wide awake, wishing that Alex was somewhere safe. I tossed and turned, hoping to somehow fall asleep, but I didn't.
