"Stay with me. Be quiet and don't let anyone see you." Derek warned us. He was so serious.

We all nodded and sneaked though the mysterious forest. Why was it so dangerous? I thought. There was no one around, and anyways our cabin was a secret.

Everything was so confusing, I just didn't get it. Couldn't they tell me what was going on? Well, then again, I didn't tell them why we had to go to the cabin. The reason why we had to go to the cabin was because I sensed danger. The feeling you get when a rush of shock and adrenaline pumping through your veins. Well, I heard a voice in my head, that was either my dad or my conscious, that told me to run. There is something dangerous going on, and I don't know what it is, but now we would be safe in the Cabin.

As we opened the doors to Cabin 4, I remembered my first time being in our forest. The first time Derek and I knew we were really best friends. I closed my eyes and could see Derek's smile. It all felt like yesterday.

~Flashback-2 years ago~

Everyday I watched the forest from my house. I was curious of it. I wondered of what was inside.

Finally, I gathered the courage to go near it, but I wouldn't go alone. The green pine trees stood tall and became bigger and bigger as I got closer. Suddenly, I stopped.

I took out my phone and dialed Derek's number.

"Hey Alex." Derek's low voice said.

"Hey Derek. I was wondering, could you come over to the forest, you know, the one by Albertson's?" I asked.

I could feel his adventurous smile through the phone. I grinned mischievously.

He chuckled and said, "Sure. I'll meet you there in 30 minutes."

"Bye." I said and hung up. Was I supposed to hang up first? What if he was gonna say something! I think I was supposed to--

My conscious reminded me to keep my cool and stop worrying. I sighed and decided to head on over to Starbucks. I don't usually drink coffee, probably because there are way too many white girls there, but I needed that boost of energy. I walked into the building and a strong smell of coffee took over my sense of smell.

I walked up to the counter and said, "I'll have a mocha frappuccino with extra whip cream and caramel."

The boy nodded and said, "What size?" He was about my age, maybe a year older, and he was good-looking.

"Uhh....Grande." I replied.

The boy smirked and I bit my lip uncomfortably. "That'll be 6.99." He said. I cleared my throat and said, "Uh...here is 10 bucks..."

He nodded and gave me back the change. "Enjoy your time."

I walked away quickly and made my way towards the counter where I would get my drink.

"Mocha frappuccino!" A girl yelled and I grabbed the cup and realized it was Sasha. She wore lots of make up and high heels at my school everyday, she was wearing it now. She looked like a whore. "Oh hey!" Her stupid valley girl voice said.

"I can't believe Little Orphan Annie is at Starbucks, home of rich people like me. Oh, and you aren't rich either!" She snorted and laughed. How incredibly dumb she is.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that you own Starbucks. Which, you don't, last time I checked. So just shut up, no one wants to hear you complain." I said and walked away. Her blank expression made me laugh.

I sat down and went on Instagram, slowly drinking my frappuccino. I checked the time. It was 3:25.

I better get going, I thought to myself as I stood up. I walked outside and turned towards my car. Suddenly, the boy from the counter walked up to me. I think he was done working, because he had a black hoodie on.

I sighed quietly and tried to walk out, but he blocked my exit. "And just where do you think you're going?"

I clenched my jaw in anger. "I am leaving." I turned to leave, but he grabbed my wrist and slammed it against the brick wall, causing me to bleed a little.

"Hey!" I yelled in frustration. I fought his grasp and pushed him out of the way, but he was strong. He slapped me. The pain wreathed through my face. Think, think, I thought to myself.

How will I get him to stop? Uhh....

Suddenly, a strategy popped in my mind. I would kick him in the groin and run.

I stopped fighting him and he already loosened his grip. Although better, his grip was still pretty tight. I bit my lip as he slammed me against the wall.

I kicked him in the groin and ran. I heard him moan and say, "Alexandra! I'll find you one day!"

I gasped and got into the car. How did he know my name?

I drove back to the forest and saw Derek waiting. As soon as I ran up to him, he smiled and said, "So. Why'd you bring me here?"

I smiled and grabbed his hand unexpectedly. I ran into the forest to find a cabin. It was empty and abandoned. "Maybe this'll be our cabin. Just for you and me." Derek said.

I looked up at him and realized he had a giant grin plastered on his face. I smiled and opened the door to the cabin.

~End of Flashback~

I looked behind my shoulder, at Jeremy. He was wearing a smirk, like he did when he first met me. I looked back in front of me, but something about him was so familiar, it was at the tip of my tongue. I just couldn't put my finger on it.

I suddenly gasped and glanced behind me again, still the same Jeremy. But I realized that he wore a black hoodie.

Before I could say anything, he was gone...
