I shot my eyes open, but I couldn't see anything. I'm in a dark room and I'm exhausted from what happened today. But, where am I?
I began to sit up, noticing that I am sitting on the cold, cement floor. I looked around the dirty and cold room I was in. It was all so unfamiliar, all so frightening and confusing. I widened my eyes, realizing that I am not in the cabin.
I ran towards the door, finding that it is locked. Panicked and confused, I pounded on the door. "Help! Where am I?"
I sighed and sat down on the chair that was available and started asking myself questions.
Where am I? Well, I certainly don't know the answer to that question.
What happened before I awoke here? Well, I do remember walking into the cabin with Derek...and Alyssa...and I also remember fighting with her. That's it.
Who brought me here? I remember something that Derek said, something about...The Governor?
Suddenly, the door clicked open and a figure walked through it.
I couldn't control my breathing, and my heart was thudding in my throat.
"Where am I?" I demanded to the figure in front of me.
Suddenly, the lights turned on, and I realized that I was tied to a chair...and surgical devices were lay out next to me.
"No..." I said in fear. "No!" I choked out as I struggled to escape.
When I could finally see the unfamiliar man's face, I asked, "Who are you?"
The man grinned.
"I said, who are you!" I snapped bravely.
All that did was make the man laugh. He picked up a pair of surgical scissors and said, "I want to play a game..."
And by the devilish smile plastered on his face, I knew this wasn't going to end well...

~Jeremy's POV~
I could hear her screams throughout the entire building, her echoing voices saying, "Please stop! No!"
I stepped outside the building, ready to take on my next task: Find Derek.
As I stepped into the van with Richard, who was babbling about how he wouldn't tell where Derek was, I texted Alyssa that I would be with her soon.
It was easy to find Alexandra, with the help of Richard of course. Hearing him say, "Oh, please don't hurt my daughter!" over and over again was so pathetic, and so annoying.
Now we know exactly where Derek is, then I can grab my sister and run away from this town.
I stepped out of the car, and told Richard to be silent.
I checked the map one more time, making sure that this was the right cabin, and opened the old, wooden door. The floorboards creaked as I stepped on them, and I looked around, but Derek was no where in sight.
I sighed in frustration and headed toward the car to ask Richard where they were.
"Okay, they aren't here, so where are they?" I said impatiently.
"U-Uh, I don't know. Really, I swear. This is the only place where I thought they would be. I really don't know--"
"I heard you the first time!" I growled at him.
He nodded and I asked him, "Now, you tell me where they are or I will kill Alex in front of your own eyes!!"
Richard's eyes widened with fear and he stammered, "I...uh...they are probably in the forest."
I glared at him and started driving away from the cabin.
~End of Jeremy's POV~

I couldn't handle the headache the man was causing me. It hurt so bad I thought I would die. Maybe i was going to. The evil man had dark magic rapidly bouncing inside of him like lightning.
He had powers. Is this The Governor? What did I ever do to deserve this?!
Maybe if I just answered his question, he wouldn't have to cause me all this pain...
~15 minutes earlier~
I screamed at him, telling him--no, begging him--not to hurt me. All he did was laugh at me until he finally said something, "Where is Derek?"
I narrowed my eyes at him. "I won't tell you where he is," I said.
He smirked at me and repeated, "Tell me where he is."
His voice sent chills down my spine. I shook my head.
I gulped and quietly said, "You won't hurt him."
He glared at me and said, "If you don't tell me where he is, that's fine. I will get your coward of a father to tell me."
I choked, "My dad is here? What did you do to him?!"
He simply shook his head in amusement.
I furrowed my eyebrows and he said, "Now, because you won't cooperate with me, I guess I'll just have to do what I do best." He gave me a devilish smile.
My voice shaky, I asked, "And w-what is that?" I didn't know if I even wanted to know the answer.
"This," he said as he dug the scissors into my thigh. I screamed in pain, the scissors still in my leg as he twisted them around. I couldn't breathe at all, and finally after what seemed like a lifetime he pulled them out. My chest moved up and down, and my vision became blurry from the loss of blood.
"Don't worry," he says, "you won't die."
I wish I could die.
Tears rapidly streamed down my cheeks and my wound burned.
Then, he started to stand up and warned, "Now, I cannot prepare you for the pain you are about to go through."
~Present-Derek's POV~
I silently hid inside with Alyssa. She begged me to come back inside and said that we would find Alex later.
I just couldn't stop worrying about her. She was like family to me, such a close friend. If I lost her, I would have no family. Nothing...
I suddenly heard the sound of a car door and grabbed Alyssa by the arm and ran into the forest to hide--but we fell into a deep hole.
As we hit the ground with a thud, Alyssa pointed in front of us. I looked where she was pointing and saw a door. We opened the door silently and got inside the...underground house, thankfully it was empty.
All of a sudden, the hole filled with dirt and we were trapped inside the house.
