I ran with Derek towards the woods. When we got there, there were two cabins.

"What the..." I said.

He looked at the cabins and said, "How did that get there?"

I shrugged and slowly walked towards the cabin, and I circled around them until I saw a message in dark blood that said:

CABIN 4

Derek walked with me and he twisted the door knob. As soon as he entered, he was blown back.

I ran towards him and said frantically, "Are you okay?"

He nodded, stood up, and said, "I don't think I am allowed to go in..."

I looked down. How would I be able to do this without him?

I nodded and walked into the cabin slowly. As I stepped into the hallway, the wooden floorboards creaked. The door shut behind me, which made me jump.

I heard crying, so I entered the first room and saw a dismembered arm. The smell made me want to throw up, so I quickly tiptoed into the next room.

There I saw a figure standing with one arm, but it didn't see me. I hid and saw a knife on a nearby table, so I picked it up.

"Alex?" A voice said. I jumped, screamed, then I quickly turned around, my knife stabbing the person's stomach.

As soon as I had done it, I regretted it.

My mother moaned and winced, then held on to me for support. She was slowly falling to the ground as I carried her.

"Mom...I-I..." I said through tears.

She smiled faintly and said, "It is ok...s-sweetie...." She trailed off.

There was a beat, with me just looking at my dying mother. Why? I thought, My mom, why her?!

"You did it for the best." She said.

I cried, my tears soaking her dress, and I yelled, "Why?! Why....why...why...."

Her eyes began to close as she weakly said, "Find your father, Alex. He is here. You must....."

Her hand that had been grabbing mine fell to the ground. Her dead eyes stared at the ceiling.

"I must what?! What?!?" I said.

She didn't reply. Her body was stiff and cold.

"MOM?!" I shrieked. "No...no...no..." I said as I sobbed.

What did she mean "find you father"? I thought as I began to stand up.

I looked at her then turned away.

I must find my father, for my mother told me to.

I looked around and the figure that frightened me so much was standing right in front of me.

"Hi, Alex." Alyssa said with a sinister smile.
