Swara drove back to her home after leaving sanskar. She came back and looked herself in the mirror. The wound was still fresh. Suddenly her cell phone rang. An unknown number was flashing.
Swara: hello.. dr swara here..
Voice: dont forget to apply ointment on your wound swara. I am sorry once again. And thx a lot. I needed this.
Swara's smile reached her ears. It was sanskar.
Swara: yes sir... and please you too dont forget your promise.
Sanskar smiled. He smiled after a long time. Two eyes were staring at him with love. It was ap
Ap:(monologue) he is smiling..after a long time. If the reason is swara then she is the right choice for him.

Next morning was different for sanskar. He was ready and ap was shocked to see the change. He was sitting for breakfast on the dining table.
Ap: sanskar....
He smiled at her. Ap hugged him. He too higged her back.
Sanskar: ma... i have realised. Whatever happened was for my good only.
Ap patted his hair.

Sanskar was working with a new energy. He was dealing with a lot of patients. Suddenly he heard a knock on his cabin door. Without lifting his gaze he just signed to come in. He looked at the direction and found swara standing in front of him.
Sanskar: dr swara..
He looked at the time. She was half an hour late.
Sanskar: 28 mins late...
Swara glared at him. He smiled devilishly.
Sanskar: may i know the reason?
Swara: sir.. woh...
Sanskar suddenly looked at a blue mark on her cheek which she tried to cover with her hair. He stood up at once.
Sanskar: you fine na...
He came near her to take a look on her cheek.
Sanskar: i.... i am really sorry. I cant even express.. i just .... please forgive me.
Swara smiled.
Swara: only one thing i ll ask for..
Sanskar: and what's that?
Swara: please give me attendance for today.
Sanskar burst into laughter. Swara too. Everyone outside the cabin including staff were shocked to see sanskar laughing.
Nurse: sanskar sir laughed!!
Patient: dr sanskar laughed!!!
Students: news news news... sanskar sir laughed!!!!
Laksh: kya..... bhaiya laughed.....
Ap: hey bhagwan... sanskar laughed!!
Dp: my son laughed!!!!!
Swara came out of his cabin. Everyone was looking at her with respect. A student came.
Student: mam... you made sanskar sir laugh... you deserve an oscar..
Another student: mam... you deserve grammy..
Swara was confused at the reactions of students. Suddenly everyone went quite. Swara turned to see sanskar standing on the door of his cabin.
Sanskar: ha... toh grammy.. oscar...
Both the students were standing keeping their heads low.
Sanskar: no... not grammy or oscar.. she deserves noble prize..
He again laughed. Everybody laughed with him. Swara looked at sanskar looking at her. His eyes were happy. Her heart felt good seeing him smile.

Swara was completing her duty. It was in icu. Swara took the last checkup of patients. She put out her apron and gloves. Exhausted she sat on a chair. Suddenly someone forwarded a cup of coffee in front of her. She looked. It was sanskar.
Sanskar: drink... you are clearly exhausted.
Swara: sir...
Sanskar: if you dont then you will have two cups of coffee ..
Swara: sir but...
Sanskar: 3
Swara: sirrr
Sanskar: 4
Swara: sir... give me.. coffee is good na.. no issues...
Sanskar chuckled. Swara took the coffee cup from his hands. She looked at sanskar smiling at her.
Sanskar: let's go to terrace.
Swara nodded. They both went to hospital terrace. The view from there was very good. The river ..the trees... the mountains.. everything was providing calmness to environment.
Swara: it feels good here .
She turned to find sanskar lost in thoughts.
Swara: sir...
Sanskar: yes...
Swara: you are lost... again..
Sanskar: no.. not in those thoughts which you think.
Swara: thank god.
Sanskar looked at her with a different emotion. He knew he had never felt this ... not with kavita. For the first time his heart beat was raising. For the first time he felt staring at her was really good.
Swara: sanskar sir...
Sanskar: yes..
Swara: what.... what were you saying?
Sanskar smiled.
Sanskar: swara.. i hit you yesterday. Still you didnt react.
Swara's smile vanished.
Sanskar: why... why were you so much concerned?
Swara: sir.. you were destroying yourself for someone who didnt deserve you. I know how it feels. I dont want it to be felt by anyone else.
Sanskar stared blankly in swara's eyes. Her eyes had pain.
Sanskar: you ok?
Swara nodded.
Sanskar: thanks a lot swara..
Swara smiled. He too smiled.
Sanskar: swara... can i ask you something?
Swara: yes...
Sanskar: ummmm... dont take me wrong... but... are you single?
Swara: what???
Sanskar: nothing... sorry..... bas...
Swara laughed at his state. Sanskar brushed his hair.
Swara: yes... i am single..
Sanskar felt a great relief in his heart listening this.
