chap 30- where is swara??

Sanskar wanted some peace. He sat near a river. His cell phone rang.
Sanskar: hello
Other side: sir it is sakshi, i gave you the reports of swara mam.
Sanskar: hmm
Sakshi: sir.. i am really sorry. Please don't tell this to kavya mam that i gave you the reports.
Sanskar: why? Those were reports only...
Sakshi: sir i didn't know. But kavya mam had strictly asked us all not to discuss this with you. I don't know the reason.
Sanskar cancelled the call. His forhead frowned. Did he reacted too impulsively? There was something to be known!
He dialed kavya's number.
Kavya: hello dr sanskar
Sanskar: sorry to disturb you dr kavya.. but can you please tell me why was swara's pregnancy aborted?
Kavya was shocked for a moment. Something bad was definitely going to happen.
Kavya: dr sanskar... how...
Sanskar: i know that you were involved. Please tell me. It's my right.
Kavya: dr sanskar. It was an ectopic pregnancy. Swara's life was in immediate danger had it not been performed.
Phone slipped from his hand. His body turned cold for a while.
Kavya: hello... hello dr sanskar.
Sanskar cancelled the call and drove with a great speed towards the house.
Sanskar: ( monologue) ye maine kya kar diya... what i have done! I blamed her. I did wrong. But why didn't she tell me.

He reached home. He opened the door.
SWARAAAA!! His voice roamed in the house.
Sanskar: swara... where are you?

Kavya woke up sahil.
Kavya: we have to go to swara.. now!
Sahil: what happenedx
Kavya: my intuitions are saying... something is not right.

Sanskar was roaming here and there in the house. He opened swara's room. It was pitch dark. He switched on the light. There was noone in the room. He found pills scattered in the room. An unknown fear engulfed his heart.

He ran out of the room. He went to his room. A paper was placed on his table. With trembling hands he opened it. The words pierced his heart with thousands of spears. Broken piece of glasses were better for his eyes than these words. It was swara's suicide note.

His legs trembled. He became too heavy for himself. He fell on the floor with a thud. Everything became dark in front of his eyes.

Kavya and sahil reached to swasan's home.
Sahil: door is open. Something is terribly wrong.
They stormed inside.
Sahil: dr maheshwari... dr maheshwari where are you?

No response.

Kavya: my heart is sinking sahil.
Sahil nodded. He too had the same feeling. He checked every room and finally opened sanskar's room. He was lying on the floor unconscious.
Sahil: oh my god! Dr maheshwari...

With the help of kavya he made him lie down on the bed. He sprinkled some water on his face.
Sanskar opened his eyes with a jerk. For a moment he tried to assimilate what has happened. When he realised he sat up with a jerk.
SWARAA!!!!
Sahil: what happened? What happened to swara?
Kavya: is she fine?
Suddenly her gaze fell over the paper. She picked up and read it. Tears streamed down her face.
Sahil: what happend?
Kavya handed him the letter. He felt as if his heart sank. Finally the wounds given by him to her menifested into this. He was the one who was responsible.

Sanskar stood up and took out his car's keys.
Sanskar: i am going to find her dr sahil.
Sahil: i will come too.

After a while sahil was driving the car with sanskar sitting in front seat. Kavya was sitting in the back.

Sanskar tried to ask every person he saw. Everytime his hope shattered. The fear of losing swara was visible on his face. His eyes were red. His face was sweating. He dialed a number.
Sanskar: laksh.. please come to kolkata as soon as possible.
Laksh: what happened bhai? It's 12 at night.
Sanskar: just come here please lucky. I beg you.. i cant manage on my own. And please ... take ragini with you too. Pleaseee...
Laksh was tensed.
Laksh: bhaiya.. what happened? Please tell me.
Sanskar: lucky... please.. tu bas aaja. Bas aaja please.
He could not made any other sounds from his throat. He started crying on phone.
Laksh: bhaiya... me n ragini will be there by 5 o clock morning. You stop crying. I am coming.
Sanskar cancelled the call and looked at sahil staring at him.
Sanskar: i am really thankful to both of you.
He folded his hands while trying hard not to cry. Sahil held his hand.
Sahil: don't worry. Swara will be safe.
Sanskar nodded.
Sanskar: all fault is mine.... every fault is mine. I should not have pressurized her to tell me everything.
Sahil looked at him. His psychiatry knowledge interpretated the situation well.
Sahil: can i ask you what led her to take this drastic step?
Sanskar: i wish... i wish i could... but my lips are not ready to speak. I want to tell you everything but now.. i just want to find my swara.
Sahil: sometimes in life we may see the fault of someone. We have a unidurectional approach. But step in his shoes and then look the world. You will find that the mistake of his according to us is actually an unhealed trauma of his according to him.
Sanskar nodded. Sahil was right. But all he wanted to find out swara right now. He wanted to hug her tightly. He wanted to tell her it's ok! He did not want to know anything. He just wanted to be with her.
