"NO," Scarlett screamed in defiance.

"Let's go," I grunted, struggling to shove her out the door but her grip on the frame was strong. AJ was leaning over the kitchen counter drinking orange juice and just watching in amusement as I tried to get Scarlett out of the house.

"You could help," I suggested to him.

"I don't want to break a nail," He replied simply. Rolling my eyes, I turned my attention back to the task at hand. I had been planning this as soon as I walked in the house last night and saw that Scar hadn't moved from her position on the couch since I had left her that morning. So, this morning after she ate, showered, and dressed, I waited until she was off guard to tackle her towards the front door. We hadn't even gotten past the door frame before she realized my intentions and grabbed on for dear life.

"You're being unreasonable," I told her, pushing her forward. I was shorter and smaller than her so that was a fairly difficult task, especially since she wasn't budging.

"I want to live thank you very much," Scar retorted.

"Nothing is out there. I walk outside to my car every morning and afternoon and no ferocious wolf comes out to attack me," I countered.

"Oh, but they're watching and waiting," Scar exclaimed.

"You haven't been to school in almost three days. It's time to put on some big girl pants and get on with your life before you fail out," I told her and with one final and firm push she was out the door.

Quickly, I stepped behind her, closing and locking the door. Scar stood in front of me, looking around frantically.

"I really hate you. Like really, you can go to hell," She mumbled when she was satisfied that nothing was waiting to snatch and rip her to pieces.

"Well now that I've stepped outside, can I go back in and at least change?"  Scar asked me desperately. I looked down at her leggings, Penn State sweatshirt, and flip flops. She wasn't wearing any make up and her hair was in a sloppy bun.

"You look cute," I told her, walking towards my car.

"I look like a rag doll with no money, house, or parents that care about her," She retorted truthfully.

"Deal with it, you look fine. There's no way you're going back inside. My arms aren't ready for another test of your resistance just yet," I stated, getting into my car.

She pouted for about five seconds more before realizing she was out in the open alone and rushed into the car, slamming the door shut behind her. She said nothing to me as I pulled out of the driveway and drove towards school. She continued her childish silent treatment the entire ride and as soon as I parked she was out of the car.

"Hey, don't forget your bag," I called after her. Like the considerate friend I was, I made sure to grab her backpack just in case I actually did succeed in getting her out of the house. Stomping back towards me, she yanked the bag at out of my hands and walked away.

"See you after class love," I called to her sweetly before heading into the direction of my class.

"Morning," A voice startled me.

I had been typing on my phone when I was abruptly stopped. In my peripheral vision I saw two grey running shoe covered feet stand before me. My eyes travelled up muscular legs, black soccer shorts, and a lose white t-shirt that read the school logo, and finally met a pair of familiar grey eyes.

"Morning," He repeated again.

"Uh," I momentarily lost all capability of forming words before I came up with a decent mumble back. I couldn't understand why I was always getting so nervous and flustered whenever I was around him. He made me feel all hot and bothered, in a good way of course.

"You look beautiful," He complimented me and I almost melted. Granted I was actually trying to look nice today. I woke up in a good mood and decided to wear a  lavender sundress that swished around my thighs delicately. I paired it with silver sandals and a white cardigan. I even had time to curl my naturally wavy, dark hair.

"Thank you," I replied, turning away slightly to hide my blush.

"What class do you have right now?" He asked me curiously.

"Psychology," I told him.

"Lead the way?" He asked rhetorically, showing off a pair of bright, shining teeth.

My feet moved for me but my brain wasn't really registering where they were going. I was under Mason's spell and I didn't know how I was going to overcome it. It was weakening me by the second. Thankfully, my temporary mental paralysis didn't completely override my sense of direction and I was able to walk us both to the right room.

"Have a good class," He told me before planting a soft kiss on my cheek and walking away.

I wanted to follow him. After all, this whole situation, him, was all just too confusing and I wanted answers. I turned in the doorway of the room and saw the class was only half full. I still had a good ten minutes before class actually started so instead of listening to logic and proceeding into class like a good student, I turned on my heel and started to follow Mason. It was impossible to lose him in the practically empty hallways and he wasn't moving too fast. Unfortunately, I must've been staring at his ass too long when I lost sight of him. Obviously he had turned the corner but there were two corners and both led to two different doors. I tried my luck on the right and proceeded to the door that led to the gym. Unfortunately, it was dark, quiet, and empty. He must've gone other way. I quickly went to turn out the door when a strong arm grasped my waist and pulled me into small room.

It was even darker and quieter in this one but it wasn't empty. I could feel the person in front of me and hear their breath coming quickly and harshly. Two strong arms tightened around my waist and pulled me forward. Suddenly, two lips descended upon mine and I knew exactly whose arms I was in. Mason's lips were rushed, passionate, and hungry. I didn't have time to breathe as he slid his tongue into my mouth.

"Mason," I tried to get his attention by pulling away but he went straight for my neck, planting and suckling wet kisses across it.

I was then lifted into the air and I found myself sitting on a hard surface, maybe a desk of some kind. Mason's hand slid up my bare thighs and my heart started accelerating. I tried to get his attention but it was almost impossible. Finally, I decided to do something bold. I pulled his head back to mine and pressed my lips against his. I controlled the pace of the kiss and decided to go slow. Running my tongue across his bottom lip, I pulled it into my mouth and then bit on it. He grunted, moving back.

"Now that I've got your attention. What the hell?" I asked, still not being able to see him. "This is the second time this has happened and I need an explanation," I demanded.

"I can't stay away anymore. I've tried but I can't," He ranted, not making any sense.

"I still don't understand," I interrupted him.

"You don't need to. Not yet," He replied.

"What? Never mind. My point is I don't even know you and for you to just continue on attacking me sexually. No matter how satisfying and exciting it is for the both of us, it's just wrong," I explained to him.

"Then, get to know me. I'll tell you everything you want to know," He responded, leaning down so his forehead touched me. Not even waiting for a reply, he pulled me back to him and descended his lips on mine again. I felt a familiar warm tingling feeling erupt in my stomach and that snapped me out of my daze.

"No, no , no, that doesn't mean go in for the kill. I still don't know you and a promise that I will means nothing," I said, pushing him back gently so I could get down to stand on my own two feet.

"Fine, have it your way. But I'm picking you up after school. We're going to get to know everything about each other, today," He told me firmly, turning away and opening the door. I quickly rearranged my attire and walked past him and out the door.

"After school," I confirmed, smiling slightly. He leaned down and planted a gentle kiss on my cheek before he headed off to the EXIT sign that lead to the football/soccer fields. I stood there, watching him walk away and pressing my hands to my warming cheeks. I stood there for a minute before realizing I still had class. I rushed out of the gym and ran towards my class, all the while hoping the teacher hadn't locked me out like he had done to the humiliation of many students before.
