POV Betty

I heard and saw Archie coming towards us. Dammit I had enough to worry about tonight, I didn't need this.

"What do you want, Archie?" I asked softly and Jug put his arm around me. Arch stopped in front of us.

"I want you to talk to me, like we used to, remember? All three of us were best friends. I want that back." he said sadly.

"I know, Arch. I want that too. I just can't tonight. Can we talk tomorrow? All three of us?" Jug and Arch nodded and I smiled.

"Great. Let's meet at Pop's at 5, okay?" I asked.

Jug nodded again and Arch said, "Yes. Absolutely" and smiled. I jumped on my bike and put my helmet on and Jug did the same. We both pulled away and Arch went back in his house.

Jug followed me to V's house and waved as I turned into her driveway. I noticed another bike in the driveway. I pulled up out front and went inside. V and C were already there and were getting ready in V's room.

"Where have you been? We have to leave in an hour. FP wants us there early." V said.

"I know, I know. Are you sure that you two really want to do this? It's so degrading." I said.

C smiled and said, "We know. I'm sure that if FP could find a way around it, he would. We want to do this with you. We are sisters. By the way, we have a guest." Toni walked in and I looked surprised.

She smiled at me and said, "FP told me what was up. Since I technically have to do it too, he wanted us all to get it over with together. He didn't seem happy about it."

I smiled and said, "Awesome. Then lets get to work." I heard my phone chime and looked.

"Mae can't make it tomorrow. We'll have to do it another day" I said to the others and they nodded.

An hour later we walked out of the house in matching skirts and shirts. All our shirts were black and low cut but our skirts were different colors for each of us. The skirts were short and flirty. C's was red, of course, V's was dark purple and Toni's was dusty mauve color. Mine was black, I refused the pink one V suggested. V and I got on my bike and C and Toni got on T's bike. We all put on helmets and left.

We got to the Worm at 6 which was perfect. FP said everyone should be here be 7. We parked in back like he told us to and went in. FP, Bear and Hogeye were already there. They smiled when they saw us.

FP cleared his throat and said, "Alright we will show you around and set up the music. Then we are leaving you to let you practice. I'm not letting anyone back in until 7, does that sound okay?" We all nodded and he softened.

"None of us want you to do this but I can't change the law and I don't want any of you to go through what Jug, Sweets and Fangs had to either. All of us think of you as our daughters and we will make sure that everything is safe tonight, okay?" he said.

I smiled and said, "Thank you, FP. Hopefully the rest of the Serpents are as welcoming as you are."

He smiled and showed us around while Hogeye set up the music. Then FP hugged each of us and Hogeye waved and they left. Bear pulled me aside and hugged me.

"I love you, kid. You'll be fine, okay?"

I nod and said, "I love you too. Thanks for everything, Bear." He walked out, wiping his eyes.

"OK. Let's show Toni the routine we made." V said and we got to it.

By the time 7 rolled around, we had run though the routine a few times. The moves were fairly easy, it was the rest of it that took some guts.
