Josie and Penelope walk into the barn. The green glow in their eyes fade as Josie asks, "So what was in that note that you gave me?"
"You were supposed to read it," Penelope laughs.
"You can't just tell me what it says?" Josie asks.
In response, Penelope stares at her, She wraps her hands around the siphoner and brings their lips together. Josie's eyes flicker closed, but she pulls away. "You know that we're never getting back together, right?" she whispers.
Penelope leans forward to kiss her again, but Josie draws her head back. "I can't, Pen."
Hurt flickers over Penelope's expression before her eyes land on a nearby cabinet. "There," she says as she looks away from Josie. "That's the urn."
A determined glint appears in Josie's eyes as she moves towards the urn. "Let's go. You drive." When she reaches forward to grab the object, it disintegrates into ashes before her eyes. "What the hell?" She seethes.
"Not so fast, Thelma and Louise." The voice makes both girls turn. Stella stands in their way with her arms crossed and eyes set on them.
Penelope's expression twists with rage. She moves her foot back, spreading her arms. She lets a wicked smirk spread over her features. "I've been waiting for this," she grins.
Stella rolls her eyes. "And I can't believe I have to save you." Flicking her middle finger up, an electric shock shoots from Stella, hitting Penelope in the chest. The force of the shock throws Penelope through the air. The witch slams into a closed cabinet, falling to the ground with a multitude of canes.
"Found the canes," Stella mutters as Josie glares at her.
"What the hell is wrong with you today?" Josie exclaims. "First, you explode during practice. You avoid me all day. And then Kaleb—"
"You saw me and Kaleb?" Stella asks, her face pale and eye wide.
Josie scoffs. "Yeah. I saw the kiss. And I heard your stupid plan. I just wanted to get here before you to talk to you."
"Then talk!" Stella exclaims. "Talk to me, Josie, because this is the only time you're ever gonna be brutally honest."
"Kaleb? Really?" Josie narrows her eyes as she crosses her arms. "You let him feed on you."
Stella clenches her jaw. "That wasn't me," she mutters, her hand reaching up to brush against her ear. "And I rejected Kaleb. And even if I didn't, I support you with literally everything, even your mistakes. Why can't you support me?"
"Because I want you," Josie exclaims. Stella's heart stops. "I want you to be happy and safe, but Kaleb is dangerous."
The Hale witch shakes her head. "Everything in my life is dangerous, Josie," Stella says. She hangs her head between her shoulders, running her fingers through the hair. When she looks back up, her wound catches the light from above.
Josie's expression shifts in fury. "I'm gonna kill him," Josie seethes. She brings her hands out in front of her. Stella watches in amazement as fire flickers in Josie's palms and her eyes turn silver for a moment.
"Jo, don't!" Lizzie jumps from the shadows, gripping Josie's wrist. "This isn't you."
Josie turns to face her sister with eyes filled with anger. "You don't even know the real me."
"Then answer one question while you're still saying how you really feel." Lizzie looks back at Stella with apprehensive eyes. Stella nods, offering a supportive smile. "Am I a good sister?"
