Halluciv yawned quietly to himself, opening his eyes slowly. He felt better than he could ever remember and the day before was rather fun! It was amazingly fun!
But, now he has to get back to business... Too bad, really...
Sitting up, he looked down at himself, softly smiling.
He was wearing a blue night shirt with a pair of lavender shorts. They were soft and they were rather nice looking, but... They weren't what he should be wearing outside... Well, the colors anyway.
Getting out of the extremely comfy bed, he remade it and simply put everything back where it belongs.
Stepping out of the clothes he was wearing, he pulled on his clothes from the last two days. Gross yes, but they were all he had. Carefully, he folded the pajamas he burrowed and placed them at the foot of the bed so they could be washed latered.
He really didn't want to do what he was going to do, but he didn't have any other choice...
Silently, Hall used the shadows of the house to move down the stairs and towards the front door. He avoided all the areas that he knew would creak and kept his footing even and soft, just like he had done so many times before.
Just as he was about to touch the knob, someone cleared their throat.
"You're really going to sneak out and think I wouldn't notice?" A chilling voice stopped him in his tracks.
Gulping slightly, the pale twin turned towards the other, whose eyes held sorrow and hurt.
"H-How... How did you know..." That was the only question that came to mind. How did Marvel hear him when the others could not? When he was careful to not make a sound...
The brighter twin gave a dry, humorless chuckle, tears shining his eyes.
"I could hear you sneak out of our house since we were little kids... Yet, you always came home before we were suppose to get up... I became very sensitive to people walking at night... Even in the day, I can hear when someone tries to sneak up behind me... So, you really think that I wouldn't notice you trying to sneak out?"
His question was painful... It begged for an answer... It begged to be told the truth... A truth, he wasn't ready to hear...
"I'm sorry, Marvel... But... But I just have to go... I didn't bring a change of clothes and my taste in-"
"Don't lie to me." The other twin hissed, those tears becoming more noticeable. "Yesterday, you were happy and cheerful. You were you again, for Christ sake!" Marvel whispered yelled, becoming almost desperate. "Why must you keep on acting like this! Acting like you're some gothic, nerdy punk! I want the real you back! I want the happy-go-lucky you back! The you that saw the good in everyone and everything! The you that loved spending time with me! Why can't I get that? What did I do wrong?" The yellow haired twin dared a step forward.
Tears swiftly fell from Halluciv's eyes. He had to protect his brother... He had to protect everyone he cares for... He has to! He can't get close to anyone or else they'll just get hurt!
"I-I..." The dark twin's voice cracked, bringing attention to the taller. He didn't like the tears that feel from the other's eyes... nor on how helpless they looked... How heartbroken they were... "I can't tell you... I'm sorry..."
The blue eyed twin took another step towards the indigo one, but they were gone out into the darkness of the late night before he could even open his mouth.
He lost his twin again... But this time it hurt so much worse.
