Hall hummed lowly as he walked down the bustle of the morning streets, walking towards the same café he was planning on meeting with his friends.
He kept his head down, allowing his hood to cover his face in shadows. This allowed him to survey the people around him, listening in on the conversations and such without really being noitced.
Suddenly, he felt himself being grabbed by the arm. He knew who it was by the grip, but... something was wrong with it...
Snapping his head towards Xcellence, he began to become more worried. The guy was wearing sunglasses on a rather cloudy day... Something had to be up!
"Celly, what's wrong?" The smaller of the two made his voice a slightly higher pitch, but allowed the concern slip into it.
X felt his hands become sweaty, his heart was racing more and more... What if Hall didn't have an answer? Or refused to answer!
"I-I need to talk to you..." The broader man whispered, his grip tightening some.
The smaller's concern went higher, he automatically nodding.
Glancing around, he pulled them into a dark alleyway, it being too dark for any normal person to really see what was going on.
"What's wrong?"
For a moment, the jock didn't move, worried... Then, hesitantly, he took off the sunglasses.
His eyes were still in that odd form, they were still as bright as anything else... As well as everything else...
For the whole night, his eyes kept changing between their very much normal form to the glowing yellow form, brightening the room to the point it was almost like having the sun in his room! Even on the nice cloudy day, he couldn't see anything without having sunglasses on!
The jock was starting to become worried as the smaller didn't say anything, he just looking into the taller's eyes with an open mouth and wide eyes.
Taking a deep breath, Hall closed his eyes gently. He had to calm the taller down.
Reopening his eyes, he showed his eyes again to the other. His was similar to his friend's, but his were a bright eerie cyan color with them mimicking more on the side of the moon than the sun... His were oddly more cool in contrast.
"X, it's alright... Can you tell me if we're alone in here?" The smaller's voice was barely above a whisper, his voice weirdly feminine.
Using his eyes alone, the white wearing jock looked around the alley, stiffening some when he saw at least four of those monsters...
He didn't like what he was seeing... He hated what he was seeing!
"F-Four..." He managed out.
Lucy nodded, looking over towards the beasts. True to his companion's words, there was only four.
"You shouldn't be scared, Celly... I can take care of them."
The jock looked down at the small nerd as he took a step forward, moving in front of the confused and rightfully terrified male.
The action and sight of their eyes caused the monsters to growl and hiss at them, their dripping fur spiking up in a threatening manner.
"Do not let them sense your fear, they all only grow stronger because of it."
The punk's voice had lost any innocents to it, holding a battle worn, gruffy female's voice.
Xcellence only stared down at his friend's twin in confusion.
What the heck did he mean by that?! There was no way someone could not fear these things! They're horrifying!
Halluciv didn't seem to notice Cell's growing fear or nervousness. Instead, he reached his hand inside his oversized hoodie and produced a small but thick looking thing.
It had a glowing crescent moon on the side, to which Lucy pressed, extending it into a staff that had a small point on each end.
The action caused the monsters to lower themselves to the ground, the hissing turning into loud growling.
From the loudness, the short male glanced behind him on the busy street. It was noisy and everyone seemed too preoccupied to have noticed anything.
Finally, the creatures in front of him were his focus. He had to get rid of them before they told their King.
Moving swiftly, he struck the closest one, running the end of the staff into beast's eye.
It gave a wheezing cry before collapsing into a steaming puddle of tar. Hall didn't wait for that to happen as he went to the next one, this one being a bit more of challenge.
This one was bigger than the other one and seemed to have known where the small mortal was going.
So, it used its sharp claws to hold back the staff.
X could only watch as the last three tried to gang up on the smaller male. He didn't know what to do... He didn't have any weapon nor did he know how to fight whatever the hell those things were!
Yet, even as he was out numbered, Halluciv clearly wasn't outmatched. He dodged and blocked all of the attacks, even able to give out some of his own!
Then, he was able to finally kill one. It fell into a disgusting puddle as had the first one, but Hall didn't waste time as he fought the other two.
And then, it was only him and four steaming puddles that slowly were being absorbed into the earth.
The smaller male looked back at Celly, frowning lightly as he let his eyes become normal once again.
"Let's talk somewhere more private."
