Dust didn't talk much during her shift, only reallying saying something if she had to... Which was odd for her as she usually would be talking loudly to the Chefs. Not bad mouthing people, she tended to do that in front of them and to them.

Xcellence decided to get to the bottom of it.

"You're being quiet today..." He muttered, taking a bite of his bloody sandwich. "What happened? Did he threaten you?"

Dust quickly drank her strong coffee, shaking her head.

"He already knew..." Her voice barely was loud enough for her friend, but he heard.

He stared wide eyed at her, mouth slightly a jar. How did-

"He's one of the best Fighters..." She whispered, gulping slighlty. "Ask your trainer about Blue Knight... They'll tell you why Beasts should be scared of him..."

The air between the two became tense. Horribly tense.

"Okay, change of subject." Cell said it at normal volume. "I'm going on a date with Marvel's twin brother next week."

The Great One rose an eyebrow, her usual smirk forming on her lips.

"Awe~ And you want actual dating advice~" Her nose wrinkled up as she head a teasing look to her face. "How cute~"

X huffed, blushing as he glared at her.

A sharp, almost insane, giggle left her before she relaxed against the break room counter they were leaning on.

"Easy, get him a gift. A gift that'll mean something to the both of you." She started. "And go some where nice, like a small cafe or a picnic, nothing too expensive. That'll give off the impression you want something back or that'll you're not as serious as you say about the relationship."

Xcellence rose an eyebrow.

"Okay... One, how do you know all of this? Two, why would going somewhere slightly expensive give the wrong impression?"

The humaniod woman lightly glared at her roommate.

"One, I've been around long enough to know how a woman, even a feminine boy, likes to be treated. Plus it's a little curitousy. Secondly, the going to overly fancy places sometimes can put someone off. Make them feel like you want to get into their pants, and I doubt you want to make your little lover feel like that?" The little she-demon raised an eyebrow, smirking.

X growled at her, his blush returning with full force.

Another sharp giggle left her.

"Anyway," She waved him off, "bring him somewhere that's special. Somewhere that has meaning to him, or somewhere you haven't brought anyone."

She stared her roommate in the eye on that one.

"And whatever you do, don't bring up your exes. It'll make your date feel like shit, like you're comparing him with them. Which, trust me, is bad on the first date. Use it as a joke on the second or third, but never the first."

X nodded, making a soft hm sound.

"Thanks." His voice sounded distant, like he was thinking. Probably about what Dust had said.

Shrugging to herself, she ignored him and pushed herself up, finished her coffee and went back to work.

Work she was going to hate even more after that day.
