X felt both dizzy and hungry. Not a really good combination.

Groaning, he lifted himself up from his bed and went to his shared kitchen. Yes, he had a roommate, a woman who always had her haired dyed a dark violet color. She also went by the name Dust, an odd name that was a bit manly, but eh, she was a manly woman.

Shifting through the fridge, the quiet woman exited her room.

"What'd ya doin'?" Her raspy voice caught the jock off guard as he jumped a bit, hitting his head.

"Ow..." The white haired male glared at his roommate, who only had a raised eyebrow. "I'm looking for something to eat, damnit." He growled, growing annoyed with her... Which definitely was odd as it took a bit for him to get annoyed.

Her eyebrow rose more.

"Are ya on your period, bitch? I only asked a simple damn question."

Cell glared at her, his lips tugging in a motion of a snarl, but... She had a point, he snapped at her without a real reason...

"Fine, got any food ideas, since we're both out and up?"

Dust shrugged, sitting at the lonely island they had.

"Something caffeinated. I have a long shift at the Summer's Duet." There was a groan after that.

X scoffed, but nodded.

Summer's Duet was actually where the two first met, mainly because they both were workers there. Dust was a waitress and hostess, so she had to deal with a lot of people, which sucked for her since she hated being in a crowded area. The jock though was lucky enough to be a cook, something he keeps hidden from his friends.

"I heard we're getting a new boss." He shrugged at the end of it, looking back in the fridge for anything that he could make.

Grabbing some random foods, he started up a pot of coffee.

"Really?" The woman didn't sound interested, more likely bored with the topic already.

"Yeah, they're male too."

A groan was heard from her.

"Great, another sexist prick." She growled.

Normally Xcellence would've coughed or something like that, but he knew she wasn't talking about him. It just happens that the allure of being boss at Summer's Duet causes plenty of sexist, perverted and sometimes plain old pricks to take it... All of them being males, which is kind of sad if you really think about it since none of the other male employees are like that...

Slowly, the smell of coffee started shifting around the room, Dust closing her deep blue eyes to enjoy it. X wrinkled his nose at the smell. He really didn't like it... And he's all for coffee!

Looking at the pot, he saw that it was only a cup full.

"Damn." He growled, going back to cooking.

"Hm? Something wrong there, cowboy?" The loner called out.

"Yeah, the smell of coffee is starting to make me sick." There was annoyance in what he said.

This got the violet haired girl to raise an eyebrow. X loves coffee!

"Okay... Well, that's new..."

The young male nodded, his body tense with annoyance.

Maybe he should talk with Hall about this... He and the other two had overheard him talking with his boss... He should know something about what's going on...

The white haired male shook his head, flipping some meaty patty. It was some cheap meat, but they needed to save money for rent that month, since their last boss postponed their paychecks till all the female staff members showed him their breasts, the two of them were behind a month. Like I said, the manger position held the allure for perverted, sexist pricks.

Quickly, he plated two still red hamburgers, seasoning one of them with some black and red pepper before handing the unseasoned burger to the female.

Dust looked at the pink meat, then glanced at her friend's that just looked liked he heated it up... Heck, it was even bleeding some!

She opened her mouth to say something about it, but the guy simply took a large bite of the raw meat, happily eating it!

"Dude!" She cried out, giving him a bewildered look. "That's basically raw! How the hell are ya eating it!" She cried out, her blue eyes looking at the meal.

The jock held a confused look till he actually looked at his burger. It was still a raw pink and was bleeding slightly.

He instantly dropped it back on his plate, swallowing the bit of meat that was still in his mouth. He never eats his hamburgers raw... Not even medium!

But, it actually tasted better like that... Raw, with heavy seasons of red and black pepper... And he could even smell it! And it smell good...

"Something's wrong with me..." He mumbled, moving his wet hands into his hair. He didn't care if the blood was going to stain his hair, right now he has more important things to worry about.

"Uh... Dude, why don't you stay home... Let me talk with the new boss and tell 'em that ya not feeling well..." Dust looked worried, glancing around the room, almost trying not to look at her roommate.

Xcellence nodded. He really needed to talk with Halluciv... He might know what's going on with him and right now... He just needed answers...

"Yeah..." He looked up towards his roommate, sighing lowly. "That'd be great..."

Dust finally looked back towards her roommate, her eyebrows pulling together in confusion.

"Um... Not to alarm you or anything... But when did your eyes become yellow?"

X's throat closed up, his palms feeling sweaty. What the hell?

"What?" His voice cracked half way through, his nervousness starting to get the better of him.

Swiftly the violet haired woman pulled out her phone, flipping it to camera, showing him his new eyes.

Looking at the screen, he saw a familiar face with a stern face mold, shaggy white looking hair falling around his face, his bangs weirdly forming an X on his forehead, there was a glowing red scar on his tan skin. The thing that wasn't right was definitely the eyes. His blue eye was a sharp, gold color, the pupil looking cat like with the actual eye it self looking both like shatter glass and a cartoonish sun.

He couldn't really focus on his right eye on the screen, since it was starting to actually hurt having the contact in!

Swiftly, the white wearing male took the damn contact out of his eye, blinking a few times to get things straight.

Finally looking back at it, he felt his heart drop. His pinkish-red eye now held a very much golden red look... It being the in the same form as the other eye...

He closed his eyes, placing his head back into his hands.

This was just too much...
