X panted heavily as he bent over, hands on his knees to hopefully try to catch his breath.
Halluciv was in front of him, barely breaking a sweat after their forty mile run! They literally ran around the city then half way out of it before heading towards a secret training area in the forest near by!
"H-How..." He gasped out, slowly moving up. "H-how... Are yo-you... N-Not brea-breaking a sweat..."
"Sorry... I'm use to running with Re and Lu..." Hall held a wincing look, a guilty look.
Cell waved it off, taking one final deep breath.
"It's fine... I needed a work out anyway." That was a lie. He was a fit male, he actually worked out three days a week most times, unless school or work got in the way of that.
Lucy nodded to that lie anyway... Anything to make it feel like he didn't just hurt his new teammate.
"Next time we'll run straight here." The smaller male's voice softened, still holding that guilty tone.
The monochrome male wanted to address it, but the punkish one continued on talking.
"Okay, if you're up to it, we're gonna start on some basic fight training." He stated, stepping further into the clearing.
Xcellence nodded, slowly walking into the clearing as well. He wasn't sure if this was a good idea... After all, he kind of comes from a bad parentage where fights were prone to happen at random... Heck, he was on the football team!
Gently, the platinum blond shook his head. What he just thought was a hubris thing, Hall clearly could handle himself... Maybe actually teach him more. A lot more.
The two raised their fists and circled each other like they were in a ring. Lucy was the one who made the first move.
Easily, he nailed two harsh boxing punches before Cell dodged them and threw one of his own back.
The punch didn't land as the shorter one had the advantage of being more aware of his surroundings than the other.
The fight ended swiftly with Halluciv pinning the broader male to the ground.
"We're gonna have to work on your technique and footing." He told, soft laughter in his voice as he pushed himself up. "Other than that, you can at least last longer than an average human." He chirped, almost happily.
"Average human?"
A soft blush formed on the shorter human as he rubbed the back of his damp neck.
"Yeah... Since in todays age of technology, people are rather lazy and greedy... So, they kind of make for a good meal... But you're actually fit, so you could either run to a more populated area of the city or you could hold them off for a few minutes... So you'd actually have a chance of living..."
Xcellence nodded, lightly gulping. Well then... He really shouldn't have asked.
"Back to training?" The Lunar asked, raising his fists up again.
Despite that he was going to lose again, the Solar nodded, getting back into position. He really wants to make sure his chances of survival against those demons was a lot higher than a maybe.
Besides, maybe he could get to know the smaller better now... Maybe...
