***Caution sexual references and swearing***

A few days slip by, and before you knew it the weekend at the lake house was only a few sleeps away. On the Thursday before the big trip you, Benson and Avery walked back to your dorm room. Your lectures all finished at the same time, so you decided to go and grab some more books before hitting the library.

“Gosh, I am so excited for this trip.” Avery gushed, walking hand in hand with Benson. She stood in between him and you.

“I don’t know if I am going.” You mumbled shyly.

“Why not? I thought you and Sienna are on good terms again?” She asked.

“Oh, we are. We are all good. But I just don’t think I can see Dylan… kissing her neck and holding her hand and-“ You stopped yourself, you pictured him doing all those things to Sienna, your Sienna and you shivered involuntarily.

You stand outside of your dorm room, when the door on the opposite side of the hall opened. Carter {A/N: the roommate from across the hall [see part iii]} walked out of his room. “Oh, well, what do we have here?” No one answered him, you looked at him with an expression shouting ‘you’re an idiot.’ “Who are you sweetheart? I haven’t seen around these realms before, would you like to-“ Midway through Carter’s-no doubt- sexual innuendo Avery slapped him hard in the face.

You didn’t know where to look. Carter retreated back in his room muttering something about Avery being a bitch. She smiled at you and Benson.

“We get it, dude.” Benson told you, once the words formed. His expression was still dumb struck.

“Maybe you should bring a girl? You know, get her jealous.” Avery said, proud of her actions.

“I don’t know…” You scratched your neck. “I don’t want to get anyone else involved.”

“Invite that girl from the library…” Benson clicked his fingers trying to remember her name. “You know the one who always talks to you and you walk with her to her lectures.”

“Melanie?” You ask.

“Yes, her she seems nice.”

“I’m pretty sure she has a boyfriend.” Avery tells the group.

“Yes, she does, and I walk her to lectures because we are in the same lecture hall. She wants to be an author as well.” You tell them.

“Oh,” Benson says as Avery unlocks the door. You look at Benson, She has a key? You thought. The conversation already progressed.

Anyway, Carson, do you think it will be cold? I mean, Sienna says bring swimmers but it is winter… I don’t want to freeze my ass off.” Avery questions.

“I probably would, the lake is pretty unpredictable. A few years ago we went to the lake for our class’ grad after party. It was winter and it was sweltering.” You tell her. She nods.

“You don’t have to pack swimmers, I am okay with you swimming naked… with me.” Benson told her. She slapped him and he chuckled. “Hey, I am a guy.” He held his hands up in mock surrender.

You grabbed your books and your writing pad from your desk and was about to ask the group if they were ready to go to the library. Sienna burst through the door panting heavily. “Alex… Dylan… punching… face… completely… unreasonable.”

You dropped your books. “Your dorm?” You asked her and she nodded. You sprinted out the door and towards Sienna and Avery’s dorm room. You knew Alex if he walked in on Sienna and anyone making out he would kill them. Common sense be damned. Benson was hot on your heels as you ran.
