: : Part XLI : :
Within the hour a party was set up. The girls disappeared into their respective rooms and the house fell asleep. The only thing that disturbed the serenity was the soft playing of music coming from the backyard, which was lit with cute fairy lights.
You lay on your bed, thinking. Not about anything in particular but your thoughts flew through your mind a million a minute.
A soft knock stifled the silence. “Carson?” Sienna asked opening the door.
“Sienna?” You asked back.
Sienna shut the door behind her and walked over towards you and lay beside you. Her soft hair caressed your arm and her supple skin brushed up against yours. “I figured I should see you.” She whispered, with a warm breath, staring up at the ceiling.
“Yeah?”
She was quiet. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” You asked.
“I went MIA. After what we did, what we shared… and I just left.” Sienna said, her voice almost trembling.
“Sienna, you don’t have to apologize. It was only for three hours… it’s fine.”
“Maybe I shouldn't have had those three hours.” You were going to ask what she meant by that but she quickly jumped up and smiled sadly down at you. “Okay.... I have to say something, and I want you to not say anything while I do.”
“Okay.” You told her slowly, but it sounded more like a question.
Sienna took a deep breath and started. “I can't remember exactly when this started. Maybe it's always been there, but..." Sienna's breath came out in exasperation. "Carson, you have always been there for me. And have always done right by me. Doing things that no one else would. You were always my brothers best friend but...you were always mine. And honestly, we could talk all night, and share the night together... and I will still have a million more things to say, a million more things to show you. I could talk to you everyday for the rest of my life and still have more things to say. But now my words are just becoming meaningless, and all this is starting to bore you. I’ll just say it. Carson Evans, I, Sienna Parker, am falling in love with you harder and faster than you could ever imagine.”
You smiled. "I know."
"You do?"
"Yes." You pushed yourself up level with Sienna and kissed her.
The kiss was soft. The type of kiss you get on a Sunday morning after a big night. A type of innocence that brings flutters to stomach approached. The kiss was delicate as a flower, and her lips were soft, plush and perfect against yours.
So that's where you stayed. With the girl of your dreams, the one who loves you, in your arms. Lying there, soft trickles of conversation but mainly you both avoided something like the plague. Alex.

The night was alive. Couples dancing, grinding and making out everywhere you turned. Boys drinking, leaning against a wall, or standing outside laughing. Girls giggling and showing off their assets.
There you were amongst everything. Standing by Benson. Alex was dancing with Cherrie and you and Benson were watching, your arms folded mirroring Benson.
“So she told you?” He asked you.
“Yeap.”
“She said I love you?”
“More or less.”
“What did you say.”
“I know.” You quoted.
