Selena looked at Nick, tears streaming down her cheeks. She had no more words to say. He sighed and sat next to her on the bed, drawing it all in.

He held his head and closed his eyes, processing the situation. "So that girl I couldn't remember was you?" He looked over at her. She looked down and nodded her head. "Oh..." He sighed. "Oh what?" She asked.

"I'm sorry." He apologized. "There's no need to be." She shrugged and wiped her tears. She then got up and went to the bathroom to change.

Nick sat there, pondering. He was trying to remember her, somehow. He tried to remember that exact same moment of the last time he saw her in that hospital room.

Selena then came out, wearing her pajamas. She walked over to the couch and began to pull it out. "No, I want you to sleep with me tonight." Nick pleaded. She pushed it back in and hopped in the bed, followed by Nick.

They both faced each other. Selena's hand was tucked under her head, her eyes staring into Nick's. She was trying to read him. He seemed confused or deep in thought.

"What was I like?" He whispered. "You know, before the accident." He added on. She took deep breath and bit her lip. "You were very artistic." She said. "I'm gonna need more than that." He said. "You loved to write. You would write songs, stories, anything creative." She smiled. "Do you miss this creative side of me?" He asked. "Nick, I miss everything about you." She teared up.

"Don't cry, come here." He pulled her in for a hug. He continued to rub her back as she sobbed. "Don't cry." He repeated quietly.

"Hey Nick." Denise greeted him as he entered. "Hey mom." He gave a short smile. "Everything okay?" She walked closer, noticing the bags under his eyes.

"I'm fine." He grabbed a mug from the cabinet.

"Don't tell me you have been working late." Denise frowned. "No mom, I just have a lot on my mind right now." He poured some coffee into his mug. He then poured some soy cream in it and added a little bit of sugar.

"Is it the whole baby situation?" She asked. "No mom!" He yelled, aggravated at the amount of questions. "Don't raise your voice at me young man." She said sternly. She looked closer at him. "Did you take your pills today?" She asked.

He shook his head. "Go take them right now and come back here, then we'll talk." She instructed. He followed her orders then came back down. He grabbed his cup of coffee and sat across from his mother.

"Now tell me what is the matter." She sighed. He took a sip of his coffee and opened his mouth. "What was I like before the accident?" He asked. "Same as you've always been." She answered. He shook his head and took a sip.

"That's not what I've been told." He argued. "Who else did you ask?" She questioned. "My old girlfriend." He answered. She gasped with excitement. "You've gotten in contact with her?" She asked. "Yeah, and I'm going to ask her everything of my past." He smiled.

"How nice. Be sure to tell her I said hi." She said. "I don't think that's appropriate." He said. "Right, it would be unfair to Selena." She sighed. He went along and nodded at his mother.

"Look, before your accident, I was a workaholic too. I struggled to juggle being a mother to you and your brothers and being a good employee." She admitted. "After the incident, I quit my job and became a full time mom. It occurred to me that I could've loose one of you boys at any moment. So if it comes off that I barely knew your past, I'm sorry." She said.

"It's okay mom." He smiled and kissed her cheek. Denise smiled at her son. She was happy he was that understanding. That was why Nick was her favorite after all. ;)

Just that moment, they heard a retching sound. They listened again and heard the same noise. Denise smiled at Nick. "Looks like someone's up." She said. Nick nodded and sipped his coffee. "Well don't just sit there, go help her." She said. "Right." He stood up and started walking. He then turned back to face his mother.

"How exactly?" He asked. "Comfort her, it's not easy vomiting for the first few months of pregnancy." She waved her hands and shooed him. He nodded and strutted up the stairs. Nick walked into his room and then through the bathroom. He found Selena hovering over the toilet, vomiting her brains out.

"Selena?" He called. She turned and looked at him. She then turned back around and vomited some more. He rubbed her back for comfort. She stood up, flushed the toilet, and rinsed her mouth out. "What happened? Did you try to eat meat?" He asked curious. She shook her head in response. "Then why are you throwing up?" He asked clueless. She handed him of what appeared to look like a stick. He held it and looked at the huge red plus sign display on the small screen. His face lit up. She was pregnant.
