Foury Two

Part 1:

"What!?" Everyone yelled. "Yeah, see." She said flashing the ring to everyone. Denise looked over at Nick in shock as he stood there and did not deny it. "Excuse me?" Denise said through her gritted teeth. "Kevin, gather everyone and get them out of here." Paul sighed. Kevin and the rest of the family piled out, leaving the room for the five of them.

"Okay what's going on?" Paul asked. "I'm Olivia, his fiance." She said as if he were slow. Paul rolled his eyes and said, "Selena is Nick's fiance." Olivia chuckled and looked at the couple. "Well he proposed to me first with this ring, doesn't it look beautiful?" She sighed dreamily.

Outraged, Denise grabbed the ring off of her finger and threw it across the room. "Cut the shit and tell me what's really going on. Like you Nick, why aren't you denying this?" She folded her arms. "Because its true duhh." She said flipping her hair. "Shut up, I'm talking to my son." She said angrily. Olivia scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Nick?" She said impatiently. He sighed and took hold of Selena's hand. "This is my crazy ex-girlfriend who just wants to ruin my life." He said truthfully although it wasn't the whole story. Olivia gasped at Nick's description. "I am only crazy for you." She said adding a wink. Both Denise and Selena rolled their eyes at this annoying woman.

"I guess she followed me here to probably lie to get me in trouble." He said glaring at her. She smirked and looked over at Denise. "I don't think that's entirely true." Olivia mocked. "Is there more Nick?" Denise asked scared of the answer. "No mom." He lied.

She looked him dead in the eye, then she looked over at Selena. She looked away as she played with her fingers. A sign for sure she had something to say. "Is that true Selena?" She sighed. Selena continued to look down and gave a soft nod. "Tell me, and I want it in full details." She demanded.

There was silence. Selena had yet to say something. She didn't want to get in trouble especially Nick. He was very close with his mother and she did not want to jeopardize that. Denise got impatient and turned to the loquacious stranger. "You. Talk." She demanded.

Olivia smirked even more and looked towards him. He had this pleading look in his eyes like a puppy begging for scraps of food on its owner's plate. But she did not care, it was payback time. "You might want to sit down for this..." She spoke. "Just tell me." Denise said rolling her eyes.

"So your son asked me to marry him last year and I said I would think about it. Then a month ago he got a call from you saying you were having this get together here. So I guessed he panicked and looked for the "next best thing." and settled with her. He came up with a plan and made her pretend that they were engaged and pregnant. Well she's really pregnant but it's not with Nick's baby. Nick hates kids would never go through with such a plan. Who knows, they probably went to the sperm bank or something. She's a great actress isn't she?" She explained. "Is this true?" Denise said with a crack in her voice.

"Mom-." Nick started.

"No!" She yelled at him as tears formed in her hazel eyes. She ran right back into the dinning room to be alone.

"Listen, I want you out of this house before I call the cops and get you arrested." Paul threatened the woman. She sighed and looked over at Nick, throwing a smirk his way. "I'll see you again Nicky." She said before leaving

Nick sighed and chased after his mother into the dinning room. She sat in her seat with her head in her hands. "Mom, I'm sorry but-..." He started. He hated seeing his mother cry especially if it was his fault. "Don't okay Nick!" She yelled. She cried even more. Selena slowly walked in with Paul and joined the two.

"Mom I-" Selena started.

"Don't you dare call me mom!" She yelled at her. Selena jumped taken back at the tone of voice. "Mom..." Nick sighed. "Don't stand here and defend her Nick." She wiped her eyes. "You." She said referring to Selena. "All this time we've been bonding, all this time we've been connecting... Was some acting gig to you? I brought you in as if you were my own daughter...." She said with a small crack in her voice.
