The two entered Jonas Daily. Going into the elevator, Nick pressed the button to ascend to the sixth floor.

Selena and Nick both stood there, silently. The music in the elevator was the only sound, that and the sound of the machine moving.

Nick was thinking about this whole plan. Two days. In two days he'd bring his fiancé to his family. He glanced over at Selena and checked her out. Her face, her clothes, and her hair.

She dressed different from his employees. He had noticed that she wore a lot of long clothing, which he disliked. He also didn't like the fact that she wore glasses all the time.

Then the silent was broken. "Gomez." Nick said. Selena looked over at him. "Yes?" She questioned. "Clear my schedule for tomorrow." He demanded. "Okay. May I ask why sir?" She asked.

The elevator came to a halt and they both exited. "I am taking you shopping." He said as they walked over to his office. "Shopping?" She questioned. "Yes." He replied. "What is wrong with my own clothing, sir?" She asked.

"Look, no offense but I want this to be realistic." He said as he sat in his comfty office chair. His assistant cocked her right eyebrow, confused at his explanation. He took the hint and went out with it. "You just don't fit the description of the fiancé of a man who owns one of the most successful newspaper."

"So what you're saying I should look more like your girlfriend?" She asked cockly. They both chuckled at the little remark. "With all jokes aside, yes." Nick said clearing his throat. "Okay then." She said shyly.

Nick gave a nod. "I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning at seven and we'll-" "Seven?!" She asked shocked. "Yes Gomez, we have to fix you up real nice." He said smiling.

She tried to not take that as an insult. Selena just nodded and left the room.

Seven thirty rolled and it was time to leave.

Selena was packing a bunch of files in her tote bag. Nick on the other hand was still working away in his office.

She picked up her purse and made her way over to his office. "Sir, I'm heading out." She said loud enough for him to hear. He looked up from his files, which were scattered all over his desk.

"Come here." He said waving his hand. She followed his instruction and walked over to him. "I was just reading the article you wrote." He said pleased. "You like?" She asked. "Love. Especially the touch on the title, Who Let the Dog Out? Amazing Gomez." He smiled up to her. "Thanks." She replied, happy that her boss approved.

The article was simply about a cat rescuing this little boy from a dog attack. Selena interviewed the child, the mother of the child, and even the owner of the vicious dog, who was later charged for not having a leach on his pet.

"Well, rest up." He said stacking up the files of news reports. "Later Mr. Jonas." She waved. "Please, again call me Nick from now on." He said. "Okay, bye..... Nick." Selena said awkwardly then leaving. Nick chuckled at the brunette as she said his name. He then turned back to his computer to finish up his work for the day.

Nick entered his house after a long night. He sat his briefcase against the couch and grabbed a beer from the fridge. After such a long day at work, he needed that beer. He took the top off of the beer and took a sip.

He sat on the couch and turned on the TV.  The Late Night Show was on. He didn't really pay any attention; he was deep in thought. He hoped that the shopping the next day would be a success.

He took another sip. He had to admit, Selena was pretty, without the glasses and baggy long clothes. "She'll be fine once I get her some nice clothes." He said before gulping down the rest of his beer.
