Selena smiled as she fixed the little green bow on her black dress. The dress Nick had so ever kindly bought for her. She smiled in the mirror, pleased with her outfit.

She was excited for this party Nick's friend was throwing. Nick was yet to be pick her up. "Selena!" She heard. It was her foster mother. She rolled her eyes and ran downstairs. "Yeah?" She asked.

Her foster mother held a glass of wine in her hand. On the other, she held up an envelope. "Remember that test you took for that academy?" She asked. She nodded not really caring. "Well, you scored really good on it and they want you to attend their school for the last year of high school." She smiled.

"No thanks, Anne." She said. "Why not? They give out good scholarships for college and it's in NY and you can leave." She smiled. "No, Nick and I have a plan to go to UCLA." She smiled. Anne sighed and slipped the letter back in its envelope. "If you change your mind, they're in town and want to meet with you tomorrow." She said and set the mail on the table.

"Okay." She said. The doorbell rang and Selena jumped. "Hold it, where are you going this late on a Friday?" She asked as she grabbed her wine bottle. "To a party." She said. "Have fun." She winked then gulped down the drink.

Selena left and met her boyfriend outside. "You look beautiful." He smiled. "Thanks." She said then pecked his soft lips. He smiled and pulled away. "Come on, the party's starting." He dragged her to the car and he sped off to the party.

"Hey, have you seen Nick?" She asked his best friend. "No, but I slipped him some pills. He wasn't in the party mood." He frowned. "He can't drink, he's driving us home." She yelled. He shrugged and sipped on his beer. "Just let me know when you see him Logan." She said then continued to search for her missing boyfriend.

"Have you seen Nick?" She asked a familiar brunette. She turned around and rolled her green eyes. "Nick's busy." She said. "Miley, please tell me where he is. It's twelve and I wanna go home." She sighed. "Awe, poor you." She faked a pout. "Miley." She sighed. Miley smirked at her and pointed to a group of guys outside, while holding her red cup.

"Thanks." She said before she swiveled through the house until she made it outside, where she heard a group of people. "Chug! Chug! Chug!" They chanted to the guy gulping down the beer.

She pushed through the crowd and grabbed the big beer bottle away from him. "Boo!" The group of people said then walked away. Nick looked at her with a glaring look. "Why'd you do that?" He slurred. "You're drunk, Nick!" She yelled, throwing the bottle away. He chuckled, due to the alcohol. "I know." He chuckled. "You can't drive us home if you're drunk!" She said. "Then you drive." He said, followed with a burp. Selena waved her hand over her nose to block the stench of alcohol.

"I don't know how, you know that." She said. He chuckled some more and pointed at her. "You can't drive!" He laughed. She rolled her eyes and pulled him through the house, and into an empty room. "Sit." She demanded. He obeyed and sat down. Nick chuckled for no reason at all. "Nick, stop it." She sat next to him. He continued to laugh. She sighed. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a water bottle. She smiled and picked it up, then splashed Nick's face with the water from inside.

He cringed and wiped his eyes. "Ow, it's cold." He complained. "It's supposed to be." She threw the bottle on the bed. She looked at the time on her flip phone. "Okay, it's 12:04am, in an hour you should be sober." She smiled. "Then you can drive us home." She added. "You can't drive!" He repeated from earlier, bursting out a laugh. She rolled her eyes, hopefully he'd be sober soon.

"Nick!" She yelled, shaking him awake. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Huh?" He yawned. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "Better." He cracked a smile. She smiled back. "Great, because you have to drive us home." She said getting up.

"Okay." He said and stood up. The two made their way down stairs to see people parting. The music blasted through their ears as they tried to exit. Nick held onto Selena's hand as they squirmed throught the crowd.

"Nick!" Logan yelled. "What's up!" He yelled. "Where you going man?!" He slurred as he waved his arms in the air. His hand clenched a beer while the other swung loose. "Home." He chucked. "You're lame!" He fanned and continue to drink his beer. "And you're drunk!" He laughed and left with Selena.

The two walked over to his car and got in. They fastened their seat belts. Selena watched as Nick clumsily try to put the key in the ignition. After six tries, it was in. He turned the key and the car started. He put the gear shift in drive and his hands on the steering wheel.

He felt a gently touch on his arm, Selena's. He looked over at her. "Are you sure you're sober?" She asked, looking into his eyes. He smiled and gave a nod. "I am, don't worry." He said before pulling out of the drive way.

She pulled her arm back and sighed. She had a really bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. Nick on the other hand, felt loose. Really loose. He had no idea what it was, but he felt free. As if he could fly. Red Bull does give you wings after all.

He reached for the nob and turned the radio on. He turned it up a notch and bobbed his head to Bruno Mars. Selena turned it down and looked at him, scared. "You're freaking me out Nick." She said. "I'm fine babe." He chuckled. She sighed and sat there in silence. Her stomach twisted more and more. Was it a good idea to let him drive? Probably not.

Nick's eyes began to blurr. His vision was not so clear anymore, but he tried not to act like it for Selena's sake. He saw a stop light straight ahead. Red means go right? His drunken mind thought.

Selena's eyes widen as she knew that he wasn't going to slow down. "Nick, stop!" She yelled. But it was too late. The car had flipped over. A huge truck had hit the passenger's side. Nick blacked out, while Selena screamed in pain. Seeing nothing but red.
