''Honey I'm home''. Qumar shouts out at me when he enters. I smile at our inside joke.

I can hear him walking down the hallway to the kitchen where I have cooked his favourite dish, Kidney beans and meat, with traditional peshawari kebab and delicious hot nan.

''Mmmmm, something smells divine''. He approaches me and engulfs me in his embrace from behind and quickly pecks my cheek.

''Assalamu Alaikum, gorgeous''. He let's go to wash his hands.

''Walaikum Assalam ,'' I reply whilst finishing of making the salad. ''How was your day'?'.

''Oh the usual. Busy. Not to mention frustrating at times''.

Qumar and my brother Hakim are general practitioners and both work together. To say that they have more than their shared load of work is an understatement. The health provision are very overworked and underpaid. Hence Qumar coming home later than often, but I'm used to it. He loves his profession and his happy which makes me happy.

Making our way to the dining area we settled on the floor where I have already arranged the food.

Soon Qumar is digging in and I just watch him eat. His such a lover of food, especially traditional food.

I remembered When I cooked my first dish as a married couple... what he did after he had finished eating was praised the lord and then he took my hands and peppered them with kisses much to my embarrassment which he found so amusing.

''So beautiful. How was your day?''. Qumar interrupts my thoughts whilst shoving a kebab in his mouth, awaiting my reply. He gives out a provocative ,moan as his chewing showing his appreciation.

''Really!! We are eating Qumar''. I raise my eyebrows at him whilst biting my lip to stifle my laughter.

''What!! Have you taste these delicious kebabs.? Mhmmmm they are so niceeeeee''. He gives out another exaggerated moan.

I throw a napkin at him which he dodges as I take a bite of the glorified kebab. Yep..Not bad even if I do say so myself.

''So you did not answer my question. How was your day?''. Qumar asks again.

''It was fantastic as usual. I love those tiny terrors.'' I replied happily.

I work as a teacher to preschool children. They are so energetic and lively that my days go bye in a flash. The kids are so precious. The days with them are also unpredictable and it keeps me on my toes. I needed that, the absolute throwing yourself in and not having time to think or dwell on things.

''Well speaking of tiny terrors, I have Kadin coming over for the weekend. You think you're up to it.''Qumar asks me whilst stuffing another kebab in his mouth.

God, Where does that man put all that food. There is not an inch of fat on him. His all lean muscle. I can definitely vouch for that as he walks around shirtless more than a few occasions, he says he does it on purpose for he likes my blushes.

'Kadin is the love of my life. His the only male who can boss me around without any repercussions.''I look at him pointedly.

''Yeah and he sure the hell knows it. You spoil him you know. It's bad that Laila does it and then you go overboard here''. He replies with a serious tone but his eyes betray him as there's humor in them.

''Well excuse me sir. It's not his fault that Allah has blessed him with two mommies. His exact words to me the other day. Did you know that? ''I look at Qumar with a smile.
