There was no land anywhere in sight and usually I would want to be on land as soon as possible but I am really liking it on this ship.

Edmund ended up falling asleep while we were admiring the sea and I know that he would want me to wake him up but I thought the opposite and left them there to sleep. I climbed back down and grabbed both of our bags. While I was glad that Jones gave us our bags back I really did not want to carry them around so I searched for a place to hide them in. While  Edmund and I kept what we know was important to have with us I still wanted to make sure that our bags were in a safe place.

I thought about hiding them in the room with the grand piano because it seems like no one really goes in there. I tried my best to be sneaky and just stuff our bags in there. I think it worked. I was in the room and there is so many interesting things in here and I was thinking where would be a good place to hide it that Jones won't be looking when he comes in here. I looked at the piano and decided that I'm the corner just out of sight would be good. I stuffed our bags and walked out of the room like i was never in there in the first place.

"This is a new sight" Jones said.

I was confused "what do you mean?"

"That you are alone".

"Oh yeah Edmund is up there sleeping and I decided to just walk around because honestly I did not want to wake him up or wait for him to wake up".

"How is it exploring the ship alone?"

"Much different and I feel like I can do more and see more".

"Don't let Edmund hold you back".

He walked off. What did he mean by that. He probably just meaning don't let him talk me out of things but I overthink.

Walking around the ship alone is definitely different and I wanted to get to know some of the crew members but they all look like they want to hurt me. Not all of them could be bad but I didn't want to take a chance but maybe I will later.

I thought I would take a risk and go see the crews living quarters and see what it was like in there.

The living quarters were ... well it was not as bad as I imagined. Most of the crew were on the deck so it was empty and I had to worried on being caught but there was not much to explore. I left and went back on the deck.

I sat down on the stairs and noticed one of the crew members looking at sky and using and using a telescope. I was interested. I walked over and i have never been up here with the crew who were in charge of navigation. I stood not that close but I was interested in to seeing what he was doing. He had a list of charts and he must of been the navigator.

"Interested" he said.

"I saw you looking through the telescope then at the sky. To answer that yes I am interested".

"Now come" I walked over closer to him.

"What is this?" I asked him.

"These are charts to navigate and my duty here is to make sure we avoid anything really".

"That sounds very interesting but why would we I've heard this ship could go underwater".

"Indeed you are right we usually only go underwater at night".

"Really?".

"Yeah but since you and your friend have come aboard we have not".

"Oh".

"Yeah but don't feel all guilty it is not a big deal".

"These charts are very interesting. Just the way you organize them it is fascinating".

"I have never seen any one so interested before".

"This is my first time seeing anything like this so it is very interesting to me".

He smiled "I am Servard".

"Evergreen".

I heard someone coming up the stairs.

"Evergreen why did you just leave me up there sleeping" Edmund said.

"I didn't want to wake you".

"Well you should of".

"Calm down".

"Sorry and oh I'm Edmund by the way".

"Servard and I will leave you two alone".

"Thank you for showing me the charts and stuff".

He nodded.

"So what have you been doing since you just left me up there. You are so lucky that I did not get pooped on by a bird or someone did not mess with me oh and where are our bags did you take them or did someone else".

"Once again calm down and I have been exploring and I hid our bags in the piano room just so we didn't have to carry them around".

"Find anything interesting?".

"No not really I went into the crews living quarters and found out that it isn't as bad as I seemed".

"That is refreshing and what was going on between you and Servard?".

"Nothing I noticed that he was using charts and a telescope. I was interested and he was nice enough to show me what it is like to be a navigator because that is his job on the ship".

"At least some one is making friends on this ship because we may need them".

"Maybe you should start making friends".

"Why you are more good at that then I am".

We laughed at each other.

"Someone is finally awake" Jones said.

"Yeah I guess watching the sea makes me tired".

"It can do that to some people".

Jones always pops up at the most random times.

"We pretty much covered the ship what shall we do now?" Edmund asked.

"Maybe we should be apart of this ship and do some cleaning or just be helpful since Jones is being incredibly nice".

"Usually I don't volunteer to clean or basically do chores but this time I agree".

"Captain Jones Edmund and I would like to know if there are any duties you wish us to do"I said.

He gave us a weird look "I usually don't have people asking to do things willingly".

"Evergreen and I feel like we should contribute since you have been so generous to us".

"Well if you insist just mob the deck and clean up after the crew that will do. Also do whatever you think is necessary to feel like we are even".

Edmund and I nodded in agreement and started to clean up.
