Luckily us cleaning so much left us with less to clean. We cleaned as much as we thought was necessary and left it at that. We went to the piano room as we keep calling it and grabbed our bags because we felt like it was time to start not letting them out of our sight. Everything was accounted for in our bags and we left the room.
"Edmund! Evergreen!" Servard shouted and motioned us to come over.
We walked over "what is it?" I asked.
"It looks like you won't be on this ship any longer we are getting closer to land and I over heard and it looks like Jones said that once we are close he will let you go".
"That is great news" Edmund said.
I did not feel as happy as I should of been "that is great news. Thank you for sharing the information".
Edmund and I walked away.
"Evergreen you don't look as happy as I am" he said.
"I don't know Edmund it is just... I kind of don't want to leave and I know it is what we should do but I just don't feel like we should. I am just so confused as to what to feel".
"It is understandable we have had it nice on here besides some of the crew looking like they want us dead but once we have the opportunity then we should just go before the crew decides to kill us or if Jones changes his mind and ends up making us apart of his crew".
"No no Edmund you are right. It is better to be safe then sorry".
"I just wonder how long soon is".
I smiled. Did I really want to leave? It was the best option to find my dad and it could get bad if we continue to stay here because what happens if we happen to run into the ship my dad is on that things could get awkward.
The best thing to do know is to make sure we survive how ever long we have here and use it to make sure that our identities are never revealed. It would honestly be terrible if our identities get revealed just as we are about to leave the ship and Jones goes full on Davy Jones on us. I took a little sneak in my pocket and just stared at the doll wondering if it was actually going to work on convincing Jack that he is indeed my father.
I put the doll back and wondered what else I should be doing. Should I start saying my goodbyes? No I thought. Soon can mean anything and I don't want to get to far head of myself and rush the goodbyes. I only had two people I was actually planning on saying goodbye to so it wasn't hard on who I was saying goodbye to it was just about taking the ship and all it has to offer one last time.
"Edmund want to start taking one last tour of the ship just in case soon is a lot faster than we think?" I asked him.
"Why not".
We were being super weird and we decided to start at the dungeon and remember our time that we spent in the nasty cells.
"It is so weird knowing that we could of spent our entire lives in here" Edmund said.
"It really is but so glad that Jones let us leave after we broke out".
Edmund started laughing.
After reminiscing our short time in the dungeons I finally showed Edmund the crew living quarters. After a few moment in there Edmund decided that he had saw enough and we left, quickly. We then made our way to the piano room once again and just sat in front of the piano and admired it. The room still has so many wonders and secrets hidden and I may never know of them. After leaving the piano room there was not a lot left to do and go besides the Captain's quarters.
"Captain Jones may we come in" I said.
"Granted" Jones said.
We entered the quarters and just took it all in for potentially one last time.
"No what can i do for ye?" Jones asked.
"Nothing really just wanted to come in and say thank you again for everything you have done for us".
"Servard must of told ye about how we are close to land".
Edmund shook his head.
"Yes it is true we are but I am not sure how close but once we are I will let you free and give you that little boat as I said".
"Thank you captain we really appreciate it".
We left. There was not anything left to do we just stood towards the front of the ship and just was hoping that land would come soon. In truth, I hope it was going to be a while because I did not want to leave well I did but I didn't at the same time. Maybe if we made more than one friend on this ship then Edmund would feel the same way.
Either way our time on the Flying Dutchman was coming to end soon even though we still don't know how soon actually is.
"After we leave here then we can get back to why we are out here in the first place" Edmund said to me.
"Yeah we do it is going to be weird but a nice feeling because once land happens then we can go on".
"I can tell that you want to stay here".
"It is not like I don't want to continue what we have been doing because I really do want to find our fathers it is just I just don't feel ready to leave".
"We can stay if you want".
"No I wouldn't do that and besides you are right. This may be our only chance to leave and I do not want to blow it".
"Okay if you insist".
"I am sure and once we reach land I guarantee that I won't be feeling this way. It is probably just because we have been on this ship for so long that I have just become so used to it that I don't want to leave".
"Don't worry it is ok. Once we leave it might be different. Besides we don't know what the next island has in store for us. It could be the one where we find our fathers".
I smile "you are totally right because we never know what could be in store for us next".
"Now that is the spirit".
We stayed at the front of the ship discussing what could be next once we leave here. Most of it was if it could be the one island where we find what we have been looking for.
