Chapter 33

I still haven't moved and I was lucky that everyone knew why and did not come and bother me. Jack has been no where in sight for a while now and who knows what he is doing.

I decided to go and walk around the ship because I am wasting so much just by standing in the same spot. I noticed Jack come out from his quarters.

"Evergreen come" Jack said.

I was a little hesitant to go because of how he told me to come. I didn't like the tone of his voice but I felt like I had to go and I wanted to. I walked slowly to where he was.

"Yes Captain" I said

"We still have much to discuss".

I just looked at him because we obviously do have much to discuss.

He stared at me waiting for me to say something but I didn't "well should we talk here or go to my quarters".

"Out here is fine".

"Now let us begin".

"What else to you want to know".

"Just what you want from me".

I was really annoyed because I did not want anything from him I just wanted to have a relationship with him.

"Why do you suspect I want something from you?"

"Just because it took you know to come and find me".

"Well Jack, I didn't know you were my father because my mother had just told me before I decide to do this adventure and I only wanted to ever meet you and potentially have you in my life".

"Ahh I don't know how to do this I just. Mostly people usually want something from me. I don't know what else or I mean how to do all this. The father thing is just so weird for me".

"Jack it is fine I just don't like how you think I wanted something from you. I gave you enough proof that I am your daughter. I should just leave".

I started to walk away and I wanted Jack to stop me I really did. I kept walking and started to get my things ready to leave. I noticed a island in the distance and the crew was preparing to make port. I thought if I avoided Jack long enough then once we reach the island then we I was gone. I was doing a good job at it because the only one who came and talked to me was Edmund and I told him what I was doing and that I wanted him to stay with his father.

"No Evergreen we are in this together" he said.

"Edmund I can't take you away from him you have reconnected".

"I don't care I am with you and will never just leave you behind".

"Edmund I am telling you I am leaving once we hit port and finding a way to get back home".

He certainly was not happy about it but he knew once I was determined on something there was no fighting me on it. Especially since the circumstances of them all.

We were about to make port and I saw Bailey and it was like he sensed everything that was going on.

"Bailey you have been the greatest of friends but I want you to stay with Jack and thank you for being so kind" I said to Bailey.

Bailey definitely knew he hugged me and I didn't want to let go.

Just before we made port I snuck into Jack's quarters and took the voodoo doll and stuffed it in my bag. It belongs to my mother and I may want to use it in the future. I know I was overreacting about all this but I just didn't like being suspected of wanting something. Jack being a father was new to him but I just felt like we would never be a happy family like I wanted. I hope I just can fine a way back to revoir and be in my own house and surrounded by people who know me and maybe see Henry again.
