You know how in every cliché book and movie there's always the nerd girl, the popular girl, and the bad boy? Well, I'm just going to give you a heads up and say that's not exactly how our life works. Yes, of course there's a mean girl actually a whole group of them and, I'm sure somewhere out there there's some nerd girl that's getting bullied by them but, there isn't just one bad boy there's a group of them and there's bad girls too. This group consists of me, Skylar, the twins Daniel and Xavier, Derek, and Joshua. We portray the whole bad boy and girl façade and we do it without fail.
No one messes with us because, they know what were capable of. No, they don't know about C.2.R but they do know that were not afraid. Not afraid to fight, stand up for what we believe, or talk smack. We don't want nor like to start fights every five seconds but, we will if we have to.
Now, there are some cliches in our lives that we can't really avoid for example our fangirls. Skylar and I get guys falling for us while the boys get fan girls, yeah I know sometimes I feel like we live in a teen fiction novel but it's just our life. Xavier and Derek are the only ones in the group who actually pay them any attention the rest of us usually ignore them. I only use them when necessary which isn't that often. What can I say sometimes a group full of boys who drool over you can be useful.
Another thing about us is that when we're around other people we tend to mask our emotions. Our whole family could've just died and some of ours have but, no one will ever know. We don't show how we truly feel because it shows weakness and people will just use that against us. Everyone expects us to be strong confident leaders all the time so that's what we do, what we have to do.
As we walk down the halls before we all break our different ways I grab Daniels's wrist. "Wait," I call to him. He's Josh's best friend so if anyone could fix this problem it'd be him.
"Yeah?" he questioned confusion evident on his face.
As we began walking to our classes I asked "What's been up with Josh lately?" I'm not the kind of person to beat around the bush and everyone knows that so, I just jumped to the point.
"What do you mean?" he asked looking even more confused than before.
"You haven't noticed anything different about him?" I was actually kind of shocked if Josh told anyone anything it would have been Daniel.
"No why what's wrong?"
"Sky was telling me how he's been kind of out of it lately you know just in space."
"That's strange."
"I know what is up with everyone lately?" I said aggravation taking over me.
"Everyone? Who else has been acting weird lately?" he questioned curiously.
"Derek," I replied bored.
"Oh," he replied like it was nothing.
"You know something?" I asked Daniel. Of all people I would've never guessed him to know about Derek's issues, yeah this is definitely getting weird.
"Well..." he trailed off.
Before I could say anything else we were at his floor. "We're going to finish this," I said glaring at him and he threw me a wink before we both parted our separate ways.

School was almost over and I had my last class with Derek. I could really see now that he wasn't his usual playboy self, you know always wearing that constant smirk and flirting nonstop with any and every girl. I knew he wasn't showing how he really felt since we were in school but, I knew him and something was definitely is off. He seemed different but, not in a bad way and that was the creepy part he was a little over cheery and instead of his signature smirk he was wearing a full out grin. Whoa what the heck happened to him? Was Sky right did he find a girl? No there's no way, I told myself shaking the ridiculous thoughts out of my head.
