Chapter 6 The Three Things

Okay, I know I've been posting like a mad person lately but, I might be gone for a while so I'm just stocking you guys up lol. This chapter is pretty long but I hope you enjoy.                                         C.2.R Chapter 6 The Three Things

            Sunday passed by with no action once so ever and next thing I knew it was Monday. The only thing is today isn't going to be just a regular Monday. No one knows about Derek and Rebecca yet but, after today it's all going to be out. Not many people from the squad go to Richard's High but those that do will definitely spread the news. I already know Rebecca is most likely going to be a hot mess today with all the stares. She's going to be walking with us, sitting with us and last but not least one of us. I have no idea how she's going to make it but, whatever that's for her to figure out I already did my job. She looks the part she just has to act the part but, the only question is can she do that?

        "Wow, I really do work miracles don't I?" I said cockily.

        "Ahem you mean we," Skylar said from beside me.

         We both stood there in shock as we stared at our masterpiece. Walking or should I say strutting towards us was not shy, dull Rebecca no walking towards us was confident, sassy Rebecca. Derek joined her halfway before she reached us wrapping his arms around her waist saying something  in her ear that made her smile.

        "They're too cute," I squealed.

         "They got to be to turn you two into a pair of helpless romantics," Xavier mocked from behind me.

        "Yeah better get a good look cause it won't last for long," I replied.

            "Hey guys," Derek said causing me to refocus my attention towards him.

         He still had Rebecca in his arms and it made me want to just scream in awe but, I had to keep calm for now at least. Derek and the guys caught up in conversation so I stole Rebecca away.

        "I was thinking and everyone has a nickname except you so it's about time we get you one," I said.

        "What do you mean?" she questioned confused.

         "Well everyone has two actually one which is just a short for their name like Skylar's is Sky and the other we come up with to match your personality."

         "We should call her Becca," Skylar said from beside me, I had almost forgotten she was there.

            "I like it," I replied.

        "Well what about my other nickname?" Becca questioned.

        "That one is more of a group effort," I winked confusing her even further.

         "Come on we're going to be late," Skylar pushed.

         "Right everyone get in your places," I said. Immediately Skylar and Derek fell side by side leaving me to stand in front, with Xavier right behind me and, Daniel and Joshua each directly behind Derek and Skylar till we make a triangle like shape. Becca stood there confused as to where to go and Derek quickly pulled her to his side. I turned my head to make sure everyone was where they're supposed to be, blame Skylar for our cheesy formation but, she insists. Alright show time I fluttered my two fingers signaling to go.
