STORYTIME!

Virgil held the flannel shirt over his shoulders like a jacket. Deceit gave him this on the last time they met up. Now, he's escaping far into the darker sides of the mind in hopes of seeing him again. He knows he really shouldn't. He's dangerous. He's evil. He gets defensive when others are around but when they're alone... Virgil doesn't feel right. It's like his instinct lie to him and he feels safer around Deceit. Virgil craves that feeling, so he goes to see him.

Sure enough, there he is. Right where he said he'd be. This time wearing slacks and a more professional shirt rather than a flannel over a tank top like the last meeting. Virgil's heart skipped a beat when he saw him. It was raining and he was soaking wet, despite having an umbrella with him. Virgil loved the rain. And seeing the one who, though he doesn't know it, holds his affections with wet hair parted over his reptilian side of his face made the heat slightly raise to his cheekbones.

Oh, and Virgil isn't have an umbrella either. He didn't know it would rain, so he was dripping wet. He pressed his lips into a thin line, subconsciously preventing him from smiling in front of the man that's supposed to be his enemy. Virgil was bad for doing this, but he couldn't resist. His anxiety was... at ease whenever he was around? Perhaps that is the true intent behind the deception. The calm wrecks his nerves. It's unsettling! But... Virgil is addicted. He needs more.

"Oh good, I knew you wouldn't bail on me, my precious little Virgil~ Oh dear, you're soaked. Come here, I'll take you to my place to get some dry clothes."

He shouldn't trust him. He knows that he shouldn't go back to his place with him. But Virgil was falling deeper and deeper for this man. He didn't want to let anyone know, but he was. With a blush and a hidden dopey grin, he complied.

"Uh, yeah! That's okay. Well, uh, lead the way."

He chuckled at his awkwardness, muttering under his breath about how it was too cute, and he opened his umbrella. Virgil was confused until he held it out for him, beckoning for him to get under. Virgil bowed his head and got under the umbrella, unbelivedly close to Deceit. So close that he was brushing against his arm while they walked. It was silent all except the rain for a while, but the the rain was getting lighter. It was still there, but the sounds and thunder have quieted. Deceit took this as his cue to start a conversation with the latter of this couple. If Virgil reads thst sentence, he would act all tsundere about it.

"You are such a good person, Virgil. Yet you insist on spending time with me. You know that I'm bad, evil, and no-good, but you're spending the night with me. What do you want from me? Is there anything I can help you with so you don't have to torture yourself like this?"

Virgil was shocked by what he said. He knows that Deceit is evil, but he would have never guessed that Deceit saw himself as that way too. Virgil didn't look over to meet his eyes, instead he decided to craft his words against him. Maybe Deceit isn't that bad. Well, he knows he isn't, yet he knows he is. How Deceit treats him, How great he feels when spending time with him... maybe it's time to shed a new light on him.

"You're such a bad little boy, Deceit. But, that's just what your acting like. I really don't buy thst you're that kind of guy. And, if you are, then why do you want to hang out with me if I'm exactly who you don't want to be."

Deceit stopped talking. He just continued walking until the rain stopped. He put away his umbrella and summoned a door. He opened the door, and it lead into Deceit's abode. Cautiously, Virgil walked in. Virgil was surprised at how many houseplants there were and how the walls weren't painted black. They were painted yellow and the room was fancifully furnished. Immediately, Deceit had brought Virgil to his wardrobe and showcased what kind of clothing he had for him to choose from. Ironically, he had many different styles but none of them were Virgil's style.
