*Alyssa's P.O.V.
"Alyssa?" Louis says.
"Oh, uh.. Hi Louis." I say. Why am I so nervous? It's not like I've never talked to him, in fact I was in love with him at one time.
The next thing I know Louis is engulfing me in a big hug. I slowly bring my arms up wrapping them around him. Suddenly feeling relaxed in his embrace. I take in his scent, being reminded of what it was like to be with Louis.
"I thought you were never coming back." He whispers sadly in my ear. "I've missed you so much."
"How have you been Louis?" I ask finally releasing him
"Honestly complete shit without you, but on the bright side your parents have been keeping me company when I need it. You know your mum loves me now?"
"That's great Louis!" I say trying my best to smile with out it looking off.
"What's wrong, babe?" He asks knowing that I'm not giving him my true smile. It's heart warming knowing that six months later he still knows these things about me.
"Nothing, I'm just tired. We got in this morning and I'm still suffering with jetlag." I say to him, but he doesn't look one-hundred percent convenience.
"Babe-" he starts off.
"Lou! What's taking- Alyssa!" Lottie says running up to me giving me a hug. "Thank god you're back! Now Lou can move out and move in with you!" She says with a big smile getting a scowl from her brother.
"Seriously thought, I'm glad your back. I've missed having you around when I needed guy help."
"No, Lottie. You don't need help with that you're too young." Louis says, but neither of us acknowledge it.
"I've missed you too, baby girl. We have to catch up sometime okay?" I ask and she nods.
"Most definitely. I'm sorry but I really didn't mean to interrupt you two. I'll let you guys go back to whatever you were talking about okay?" I almost protest, but then I realize I don't to explain to them what my problem is.
"It was great seeing you again Louis, I'm going to go now." I say turning around. Louis, however has another plan. He takes hold of my wrist.
"Alyssa, I went six months without you. You don't seriously think I'm going to let you go this easily?!" He says laughing.
"Please, Alyssa. Can we talk?"
"Now's not a good time Louis." I say.
"It never is anymore." He mumbles but I hear him.
"You know what, I'm sorry I'm not ready to talk to you. I thought of all people maybe you'd understand why I don't wanna talk about the past six months. "
"That's exactly why I want to talk to talk to you! It's been six fucking months. That's how long it's been since I last had a conversation with you. You may have everyone fooled but I know you. You're just like me!" He argues not caring that we are causing a scene.
"Fine you want to talk? Let's talk." He deeply breaths in.
"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to scream at you. I'm just trying to figure out why and how."
"I realize that, but I did it for me. It made it easier on me to not talk to you." I say.
"But what about me! It's been hell knowing my girlfriend has been avoiding me!"
"I'm not the only bad guy here! I know you started drugs again! Louis, you told me you stopped for good!" I argue back.
"I didn't it to forget about you! I couldn't though, I tried but you kept popping up in my mind. I love you way to much to forget about you!"
"Well maybe that's exactly what I was trying to do while I was away. I wanted to avoid all contact with you to forget about you! And you know what Louis!? I did!" I argue with him instantly regretting it.
"What the hell happened to you Alyssa?"
"I went away to America for six months, everything has changed. I'm not the same person, the person I was is long gone! Now I'm just some broken girl that will never amount to anything!"
"Alyssa-" He starts but I cut him off.
"No Louis. I don't deserve you. I'm just a girl desperate for anyone to show her love. I messed up Louis and I will never forgive myself."
"Baby, please don't say that. I love you, it's never going to change. I'm going to marry you."
"I don't think you'll want to." I say tearing up.
"Of course I will! Nothing will change my mind. I'm willing to help you find yourself." Louis says intwining our fingers together giving me the look of hope.
"You can't find something that doesn't want found." I say taking my necklace off. "Here Louis, I don't deserve to wear this anymore." I say giving it to him.
He looks at it seeing the ring that is on it. "No, you can't do this. Alyssa, please don't give up on me. Give me one night. Please, let me stay with you tonight."
"Louis, you have your sisters. I can't do that."
"I'll rent them a room, they have a concert tonight and it's a long ride back home." He says softly pushing me against the wall. "I've missed you so much, baby. I'm not going to let something like this stop me." He says looking down at my lips, then into my eyes. He licks his lips in a desperate manner, but his eyes tell a different story. The story I haven't seen since we broke up.
Fear. All over his face.
"Just one night, like old times. No fighting, just talking. I promise." He says in a way he knows to get me to budge.
"Okay, fine. One night!" I say giggling at his excitement as soon as I give in.
"Great! I'll plan everything all you have to do is give me the address to your hotel." He says enthusiastically.
"Or you could just take with you." A familiar voice says, causing us to separate once we realize where we were.
"Uh. Louis this is Grant, Grant this is Louis."
"Yeah I figured that much out Juliet." He says with clear sarcasm in his voice.
"Right, uh.. Louis, Grant he uh.. Kinda took me in while away, and he's also sort of my cousin. He's even more protective than Kaleb."
"Seriously, don't hurt her Louis. I know you probably would never dream of it, but she's really going through a lot. Just stay with her, and keep a close eye on her." All Louis does is nod.
"So love, do you want to come see the girls and hang out with me or wait until later?" Louis asks me. I shrug.
"I'll tell you what, you go and get some rest because you look exhausted. I catch up with you later." He says giving me a soft kiss. "I love you Alyssa." He says and I nod.
"Go meet up with my dad, I'll catch up in a minute." Grant says and I smile giving him a hug. As I walk off I see Grant and Louis deep in conversation.
I really hope that Grant doesn't accidentally slip why I'm really avoiding him.
