cold air touched my legs causing me to wake up. I woke with a shiver and a loud pounding in my head. It felt like my brain was going too break into a thousand pieces.

I tried to rub my temples, but my hands were restricted too a small wiggle. thinking was a pain, the more I tried to think the more my head hurt. my mind was in a thick fog that clouded my thoughts and judgements as well.

my whole body hurt and sat limp. I tried to stand, but I just fell back down bringing my attention to the chair I was sitting in. it was cold and a rough, dark wood.

My left strap of my overalls hung low and my red shirt was ripped along with my shorts. like someone dragged me through thorns.

"What's going on?" I said too myself in a hung over kind of state. My throat parched and scratchy. I leaned back in the chair uncomfortably. my throat screamed for water to quench the fiery pain that erupted from the back of my throat.

I closed my eyes and tried to muster up a scream, but only a small whimper came out of my mouth. almost like a weak puppy scared for its life.

"I see someone is awake." said a low, raspy voice. I slowly looked around trying to process where the voice came from. I let go a very shaky breath as I looked into the darkness that surrounded me. the darkness looked never ending.

blue sparks came from the darkness. the sparks resembled electricity. foot steps grew closer and so did the sparks. I noticed the sparks were coming from the foot steps.

I shifted my glance towards the person coming closer to me. it was the tall man from before. I could make out a few more details, but my vision was blurry and my eyes stung causing them to water.

he had large dark blue feathers that came out of the top of the wooden mask he was wearing. he had a blue and black trench coat with black combat boots. he blended into the darkness so easily. almost as if he was made for the dark.

he got closer to me. every step he took sent a chill down my spine. my neck felt like it was going to snap from looking up at the tall man. the man stood right in front of me, just an inch from my legs.

he leaned over so we were eye level. his mask and my nose almost touched which sent another chill down my spine. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. he took a gloved hand and ran a cold finger along my cheek. The sensation sent a chill down my back.

I tried to calm down, but my body was so tense it hurt to relax. I was a stiff board that got stiffer every second. The man continued to touch my face with soft and delicate strokes.

"what do you want from me?" I asked with a snarl wanting him to stop touching me. he backed away a little, but not much. His hand fell from my face and he crossed his arms.

"I forgot how soft and flawless human skin could be. Anyways, I'm simply here just for information." he said in a muffled tone from the mask. I felt my restraints. they were made of Duck Tape. how do I get out of this?! I thought and watched the man very closely.

"where is Doc?" he asked calmly, but yet sternly. his tone felt like daggers threatening to cut my skin at any second.

I have to give him information to make him satisfied, but keep him away from Doc....but how? I thought but nothing could come to mind from the thick cloud that swirled around my thoughts and memories. keeping me from figuring out a solution.

"did you drug me?" I asked trying to keep my head up to look at him as drowsiness began to over come me. his large hand grabbed my chin and held it up so I could look at him.

"just a little. I didn't think it would have this drastic of an affect on you though. at least I know you don't take drugs regularly." he examined my face. On of his cold fingers moved my long brown lock of hair out of my face.

"such a beautiful human in a world of misery, drugs, and murder." On of his fingers from the hand that was holding my chin up ran along my throat. He soon let go of my face letting it fall and began to pace around the room in thought. I felt the bottom of my wooden chair and found a sharp nail exposed.

satisfaction and glee over came me and I began to scratch at the tape slowly so I wouldn't cause noise. I had gotten rid of two layers of tape. I had one layer left until the man came back over to me and slammed his hands on the arms of my chair cracking the wood a little.

"why are you humans so destructive, carless, and just overall narcissistic?!" he said with a snarl and irritated. I quickly ripped the last layer of tape and grabbed the tall mans black horns and stood on the chair.

"we're just trying to survive." I answered his question then kneed him in the gut. my legs were weak, but I pushed the pain away and ran for my life into the darkness.

I couldn't see anything, not even my hand in front of my face. where do I go?! I thought, but then just started running hoping I don't face plant into a wall. the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end again.

the sensation was familiar. he's close. I thought, but before I could think farther into the subject I ran farther into the darkness.
