Part 25 - Sorry

I looked around and found a blanket on the floor. I took the pillow off her face and wrapped her tightly in a blanket. she glared at me which made me chuckle.

"you're mean..." she said disappointed as I looked around the room for the bottle she drank the drug out of. I found an empty vile next to a glass that had water in it.

"you don't just take drugs from people!" I said a little upset, but when I turned around to look at her she was asleep. I mean, at least she isn't trying to take my shirt off... I thought and heard a knock at the door.

"crap..." I mumbled to myself fixing my mask and putting on my cloak. opening the door I saw William the panda. he had faint bruises all over his face. his hands were in his pockets. he nervously rocked back on the heel of his feet.

"I need to talk to you about something." he said and went to walk into the room, but I stopped him. he glared at me and balled his fists.

"let me in!" he said sternly, but I stood my ground. he growled and pushed past me and into the room. CRAP! I thought closing the door and walked over to William who was staring blankly at Ali on the bed.

"what is this?!" William said a little shocked to see her sitting there in a heap of blankets.

"...umm... humans... uhh, like to do that..." I said nervously and smiled at William.

"don't give me that crap!" he said not believing me.

"fine! someone gave her a drug while I was in the shower. she tried to seduce me, so I did that..." I trailed off and glanced over at Ali. William busted up laughing.

"of course you let her take a lust drug from some random person!" he said laughing.

"did you two actually...do... anything?"

"NO!" I yelled at him.

"really because your feathers are all messed up." William chuckled and folded his arms. I quickly ran my hands through my hair like feathers fixing them in the process.

"anyways, I came here to say sorry... sorry I threw her across the street two times and sorry I used a health potion in the middle of a fight." William was looking at the ground as I widened my eyes. William never says sorry.

"I'm allowing you back into this village, but you can't go steeling things anymore. you also have to keep your human out of trouble. but I can tell your going to have a little trouble with that." William chuckled some more and I sighed.

"I was a starving kid back then. I won't steel anything." I said guiding William out the door. William shoved his hands into his pockets and began walking away. I shut the door and leaned against it.

I rubbed my face under my mask tiredly. ugh... I can't deal. with all this stress. I thought and looked at Ali who was still asleep on the bed.

that drug is going to last a while... I'll just wait for her to wake up. I thought and sat on the floor and ate some fruit.

A while had passed and it was now dark outside. I was now sitting next to her on the bed drawing.

I grabbed Ali's book with all of the animals I had written about and began drawing more detailed pictures in the back of the book. Ali grumbled causing me to put the book down and look at her. she opened her eyes and glared at me.

"h-hi..." I said nervously. Ali scrunched down into the heap of blankets and grumbled. she mumbled something, but I couldn't hear her.

"what?..." I asked making her pop her head out of the blankets.

"I said, sorry I lustfully attacked you..." she said making me laugh. she pouted angrily.

"it's fine. just next time don't take things from strangers." I said and wiped a tear of amusement from my face. light came through the window as Ali leaned against my shoulder.

"your like a burrito." I said making her giggle.

"I didn't know a drug could be that strong." she said wiggling out of the heap of blankets.

"ya, here our drugs are a lot stronger because everyone here are usually larger than a human."

"umm ya! what are you? 8 foot?!" she asked.

"I'm 8 feet 2 inches tall." I said chuckling.

"holly crap! I'm like 5 feet 3 inches tall!"

"well, that just means I'm the superior one." I said and got a pillow smacked into my face.

"what is with you and smacking me with pillows?!" I yelled and threw one at her causing her to fall off the bed.
