Part 6 - A Tall Man

I walked outside of the house along the stone path too town and held the strange book in hand. walking into town I saw the old pastry lady that would give me and Brandon free pastries just because we were cute together.

"oh, hello future Ms. Tolya." the old lady said as I rolled my eyes which made her giggle. "where is your cute boyfriend anyway?" she asked and handed me a glazed donut with a warm smile. you are such a sweat old lady. I thought and smiled warmly back.

"he isn't my boyfriend. But, he is home sick with his father." I said with a quick lie. I began wondering what they were talking about. "oh no, well I hope he feels better." she said with concern in her voice. I waved her good bye and continued to walk down the small town eating my donut.

oh man, this is the best donut I have ever tasted IN MY LIFE! I thought and was about to take my second bite when a flash of blue and white light almost blinded me. I shut my eyes from the blinding light.

slowly opening my eyes I looked around and saw the world around me was frozen. Like someone... or thing pressed the pause button on a movie causing the entire world too stop. birds sat frozen in the sky not falling or moving from their places. people's steps abruptly stopped in their places.

I touched a leaf in mid air and watched as it stayed still not budging.

"wow..." I mumbled to myself. the hair on the back of my neck stood on end as I hear a step come from behind me. I quickly turned around and was slammed against a tree directly behind me. my vision shook as I tried to catch me breath.

a large hand was wrapped around my neck choking me. my throat screamed for air as my feet dangled above the ground. my vision cleared a little so I could identify the person holding me against the tree with immense force.

the person holding me against the tree was a tall and thin man. His face was covered by a black mask.

The mask had two small holes where his eyes would be. Two long and thick black horns came out of the top of his head.

They looked sharp too the touch...

My air supply had ran out and I began to pass out, but the man let me go and caught me as I fell too the ground.

....Everything turned black....

Cobalt's POV

"what do you mean I will have no memories tomorrow?!" I yelled as Doc in irritation. "it is only the second day of us being in this form and at the rate your are forgetting so many events of your life you won't have any memories tomorrow."

I felt myself snarl and begin to drool from anger and frustration. why is this happening to me and not anyone else?!.....I need to tell Ali! I thought and went to go find her, but a wave of fatigue hit me when I tried to move and I began to see everything blur together.

I felt a sharp pain in my head and began to pass out, "Brandon?, Brandon?!, BRANDON!" I heard Doc say but I couldn't get up, instead I fell to the ground and passed out.

Ember's POV

Brandon collapsed in front of me which scared me, but then logic hit me in the face. he must not be use to his new body....but he is twice the size. he probably got so mad he used a lot of his strength and energy. As a result of him passing out when he tried too move. I thought and started to examine him.

I sat on the floor and lifted one of his giant arms to examine it, it was extremely heavy and it took both of my hands to hold it off the ground. I plopped his arm back down on to the floor and walked over to his head and nelt down.

welp cents he is here at the moment I can run a few tests while he is passed out. I picked up his head and saw his lips were too short to completely cover his sharp teeth, there was probably an inch and a half of exposed teeth. this is so fascinating! I continued to examine his giant form.
