I woke up in the fetal position next to a still sitting Ace. I sat up getting his attention making him look at me. "Did you sleep?" I asked making his shrug. "My body doesn't need sleep too often in comparison to your human body." He said standing up making me confused.

"Wait, so how often do you sleep?" I asked as he stretched and popped his back. "Uhm... At most three nights in a human week." He said without emotion like it was normal. What the crap! If I only slept three nights a week I would kill myself! I thought standing up.

Ace began walking off down a hill so I followed him. "Where are we going?" I asked walking along side him in aww as I looked around the new world around me. "We're going too a close by village called, VineWay." He replied. I shoved my hands into my back pockets, but my left hand hit something.

I pulled out the thing in my pocket. It was the book Doc gave me. How did that get into my pocket? I thought, but shrugged it off. "I see you have my book I gave to Doc." Ace said looking at the book as we continued to walk. "Wait, this is yours?!" I exclaimed and looked at him in shock.

"Why yes, I made that book about this world. It tells you about almost every creature here along with different kinds of plants." He held out his hand clearly wanting to see it. I gave it to him and watched as he flipped through a few pages.

"I'm glad he kept it in such good shape." I watched as the white lights in his eyes scanned around a few pages. I so badly want to see what you look like. I thought as he gave me the book back. I put it back into my pocket and continued to follow Ace.

We came to a tall rock wall making Ace stop. The wall was probably around 20 feet tall. "We're going to have to go around." Ace said looking around  trying to find an alternative way. A giant smile grew onto my face as I slowly looked at Ace.

Before he could do anything I grabbed him by the arm and leapt into the air. We were about 40 feet in the air when I heard Ace. "Holy crap!" He yelled and grabbed hold onto my arm for extra support. We landed atop of the cliff.

"You could have killed me!" Ace yelled at me making me giggle. "But I didn't." I smiled at him and continued forward. Ace let out a long, deep sigh and walked along side me. "Why do I have to deal with you?" Ace grumbled to himself and seemed to slouch a little.

"What are you talking about?! I'm amazing!" I said dramatically and smiled warmly. "That's what you think." He said under his breath.

"What was that." I snapped at him making him back off. "Nothing!" I said quickly and threw his hands up in defeat. I waved it off and continued forward. We walked into a dark cave that had no light.

The only source of light came from the sparks of electricity coming from the bottoms of Ace's feet as he walked. Ace rubbled his hands together causing blue sparks. the whites of his eyes disappeared and was replaced with two bright lights that came from the holes in his mask and his hand turned blue giving off a soft glow.

"Wow! You can glow?!" I said and watched him in aww. He chuckled and continued walking. Why am I being so nice to this guy? That one thought ran through my mine many different times as we walked through the dark cave.

Why don't I just ditch him? Why don't I just use him to find Brandon and Doc?.... No.... I can't do that to him... He seems like a nice guy...

What are you thinking he drugged you?!

But he did help me with my new form.

He is the one who pressed the button on the machine!

He hasn't tried to kill me though. My thoughts continued to argue as I looked at the ground and continued to walk behind Ace. I hadn't noticed he stopped until I bumped into him and almost fell over. I caught myself and looked at him confused.

"Why did we stop?" I asked, but he quickly covered my mouth with one of his gloved hands and motioned forward. There was a snake in front of us, but this snake was giant and covered the entire exit of the cave with its curled up sleeping body.

My eyes widened as I watched the giant snake's still sleeping body. "Just step away slowly..." Ace said quietly and began moving back. Until my nose began to itch. Oh no. I thought and sneezed loudly causing the snake to wake up and look at us.

The snake held it's head up high towering over us. The snakes gaze landed on Ace and it seemed like it smiled. Did that snake just smile?! I thought and looked at Ace. He was calm as he stared at the snake.

"Why hello, Messssssenger. Why are you in my cave on thissss fine morning?" The snake slurred it's S's and swayed as it talked to Ace. My eyes widened as I watched in aww as the snake talked. "Let us pass, Ravano. Or should I remind you of the last time you wouldn't let me pass." Ace said sternly and took a step forward.

"Don't be sssso hassssty my dear friend. How about I let you passss, but I get your little human pet? You know how itssss againsssst the rulessss to have one. I'll go ahead and take it off your handssss." The snake Ravano said and looked at me in a longing way as it licked the side of its mouth.

"I think not." Ace said as one of his hands flung forward and a bolt of white lightning sprung from his palm. I jumped back and watched as it made a deep hole in Ravano's body. He hissed and backed away.

"Fine, but your going to be in a lot of trouble if the king findssss your little pet!" Ravano hissed and slither out of the cave and out of the way so Ace and I could pass.
