the cold stones against my bear feet sent chills through my body. Adrenaline pumping throughout my body as the feeling of someone following me crept up my spine. the sensation was like a spider slowly crawling up your back.

The sensation grew stronger every second, but whenever I turned around there wasn't anyone there. A soft light came from the darkness giving me hope. I ran towards the light. I came to an alleyway and stopped when I felt the concrete under my feet.

I turned around but the only thing there was a wall. Did I come out of the wall?..... no that's stupid.... I shook that thought away and walked into the town not thinking twice about what just happened. It was the middle of the night judging by how dark it was. the wind blew past me making me shiver from the cold.

walking down the street of the town in the middle of the night was eerie. my hair was tangled and in a mess as it waved in the cold air. a loud crash came from behind me making me jump and turn around quickly.

a trashcan had fallen over and a cat began rummaging through the garbage. it's just a cat... nothing to worry over... I looked around a little longer then continued forward. I folded my arms and began to tens up from the cold.

I came to the front of the small town and began walking home along the small stone trail. what did that stupid, tall man do with my shoes?! I thought as I began to lose feeling in my feet.

I opened the door and saw all of the lights were turned off and nothing looked out of place. they must be in bed. I thought and closed the door behind me. the house was warm and the feeling in my feet slowly came back as I walked up stairs too my room.

I closed my bedroom door and took my book out of the pocket of my overalls and set it on my desk. I glanced at my closet full of clean clothes then at my bed. do I feel like changing?.... nah. I flopped tiredly into the soft warm bed.

I pulled my soft green covers up and snuggled down into the bed. it felt nice to lay down. sleep over came me and I soon dozed off into a deep sleep.

??? POV

I let the small human girl go not wanting to fight her. so instead I followed her. stupid human girl! I just want to know where to find Doc and Brandon! I thought and knelt behind a chimney and watched her slowly walk down the "town".

I got off the roof and landed on a metal cylinder and accidentally knocked it over causing a loud crash. I quickly ducked behind a building hoping she didn't see me. peaking around the corner I saw the short human girl examined everything with her eyes then continued forward.

stupid human objects! their so loud! I thought and remembered the time I wanted to "microwave" something and it made a loud beep sound. that sound was so annoying! I thought and noticed the human girl had no shoes.

should I give her the shoes back?.... Nah!.... I thought evil watching her walk along a stone trail as I knelt in tall grass out of sight. the human girl walked into a house and closed the door behind her. when I stood up the tall grass only came to my elbows.

I'm glad it's dark or she would have seen me. I thought and walked up too the front door. I held up a finger to the door handle sending a spark through it and heard a soft click sound. my stern face curled up into smirk as I watched the door slowly open with a soft eerie creek.

"perfect..." I whispered to myself satisfied with my work and took a step into the house. the floor had footprints burned into it. the wood door closed behind me as I examined the many marks on the floor. my eyes shifted around the rooms and landed on a flight of stairs.

my boots made soft clicking noises as I walked over too the stairs. the railing was burned and a handprint was burned into it as well. humans have a weird sense of decor. I thought with disgust and softly walked up the stairs trying not to make a sound.

a door at the end of the hallway closed, but for a split second I saw brown hair wave past the door letting me know the human girl walked into that room. I decided to go into the door to the left and found a room full of random things.

I walked in and looked through a few of the books on the table in the corner. I didn't recognize any of the books except falling for my bully by Savvi_Smiles. I had a few old friends that really liked that book. I on the other hand never took the time to read it.

the floor creaked as I left the room and closed the door behind me. I worked my way downstairs and walked over too a white door that was locked and I couldn't open it. a key pad sat next to the door handle making me sigh deeply from irritation.

"dang it..." I leaned my head back in thought and stared at the celling.

I could just wait for morning and get the password from the human girl... NO! that won't work she will just scream at me and run away... but where would she go... back here? I thought and decided to wait till morning.

"in the mean time I can catch up on the human culture." I said to myself and opened a small book that said "politics" whatever that means. there was a picture of an older human with white skin and blond hair that looked fake. in small words at the bottom of the cover it said.

"all of the secrets of president Trump reviled!" I cringed at the wording but decided to read on.

thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! make sure to go check out Falling For My Bully by Savvi_Smiles. it's really good!
