Part 21 - More Fights?!

I round house kicked William in the gut. I watched as he bent over catching his breath.

"you pack a punch don't you pet?!" he chuckled and grabbed my throat in one quick motion. his grip was strong it began cutting off my air supple. as I dug my nails into the pandas large hands it began drawing blood.

"I find it funny how you think you can over power me in a fight." he said and threw me across the street sending me slamming into the side of a building. a sharp pain resinated from my chest. I probably have a broken rib. that stupid narcissist! I thought and got up and felt my feet lift off the ground and floated towards him with rage fuming inside me.

Ace told me there's a rule that talks about how there can't be a two against one fight. so as a result Ace had to stand back as I got knocked aside. Ace watched the fight from the sidelines. even though I couldn't see his face I could tell he was wearied. 

as the rage built inside me I readied myself for the fight to continue. 

"you humans are so fragile." William said and threw one of his swords towards me as I slowly approached him. 

it was almost as if the world around me grew slow, but I continued to move at my normal speed. I looked over at Ace. he motioned towards the sword that was slowly moving towards me. he had slowed time to help me. 

an evil grin spread across my face as I grabbed the sword and time began to return to normal. William seemed surprised, but tried to not show it. the sword melted in my grasp making the panda's expression lift in surprise.

giggling I slowly approached the panda. he snarled and lunged towards me with a clawed hand out and ready to attack me. he ended up going right through me and landed face first on the ground. 

Ace's POV

I was genuinely surprised when William went through Ali leaving her with no scratches. I leaned against a wall knowing Ali was going to destroy William. I watched as Ali's eyes turned completely black and smoke came from her hands.

she picked William up off the ground and snarled at him. I couldn't help but smile at the sight. William would always talk about how pitiful humans were and how he had destroyed so many in the past.

but then, here he is being destroyed by one. before Ali could do anything William pulled a blue bottle out of his satchel. how did he get a healing potion?! they're illegal! I thought and ran up to Ali and William, but I didn't make it before he drank the potion. all of his wounds were healed and he grabbed Ali and threw her against a wall.

I punched him straight in the face. pandas have sensitive noses so I knew if I hit him there he would be knocked back. 

while William staggered to gain his balance I looked over at Ali. she was on the ground with blood dripping from her left arm and head. she was unconscious and completely limp. something exploded inside me as lighting struck the ground around me. 

my vision turned red from rage as I felt electricity pump through me. I was pissed.

"I will kill you..." I said as William chuckled and pulled out another sword. the fight had drawn attention and now the entire town was watching. I could hear people whispering and murmuring. 

"is that the Messenger?!" 

"why is William fighting him again? didn't he lose many years ago?"

"is that a human?! it doesn't look very."

"that's a lot of blood."

I fumed as I ran over to William. the ground shook under me and pulsed with electricity. I kicked William in the face sending him to the ground. William's face was covered in bruises and blood. I walked over to him and began punching him over and over again in the face.

a pool of blood covered the ground around us as I punched him and felt a tear fall down my face as I thought of Ali on the floor. before I could punch William another time I felt a small and soft hand rest on my arm.

I stopped all movement and looked over my shoulder to see Ali. her face was covered in blood and she was holding her stomach with her bloodied arm. 

"stop... he's had enough..." she struggled to catch her breath as her eyes rolled back and she fell into my open arms. I frantically looked around and found Williams satchel. inside were three small health potions. I grabbed one and grabbed the rest of our things and ran into the tall grass out of town not wanting to be seen by the rest of the town.

sitting down on the ground and opening the bottle I frantically poured it into Ali's mouth. be ok! be ok! be ok! I thought over and over again. I watched her closely and waited for something to happen.
