like instead of hugs or fist bumps this is how he routinely greets his adopted kid brother

and when Pony was a lil younger Two would give him piggyback rides all around the Curtis house and accidentally bump his head on the tops of doorframes whoops

Ponyboy got his revenge by hiding behind doorways and sticking his foot out at the last moment to trip Two-Bit

when they were little kids Two-Bit
definitely pulled that 'step on a crack, break ya mama's back' stunt with Pony, got the boy petrified and meticulously stepping over even the tiniest cracks in the sidewalk then proceeded to shove him onto one just to see the devastated look on his face

Two-Bit also showed Ponyboy all the wrong table manners like blowing bubbles through his straw into his chocolate milk and sticking the pepperonis from his pizza all over his face and roaring like some exotic undiscovered creature
when Ponyboy is annoyed he threatens to shave Two's sideburns off in his sleep: 'keep trying me Mathews'

Two-Bit has gotten removed at least once from Ponyboy's track meets because he showed his support so obnoxiously, likely by painting his butt with Ponyboy's team number and mooning the runners and the crowd

Two convinced Pony that the blond hair suited him (we know that boy is crazy for blondes after all) and helped him redye it when his roots started showing
after the events of the book, whenever Ponyboy has a disagreement with Darry he calls up Two-Bit, even if it's midnight and Two-Bit will meet him outside and drive him around town blasting music or take him to a diner or even out of town a little ways just to look at the stars on the hood of the car and he won't bring Ponyboy home until he knows he's calm

and this way Darry and Soda always know where their little brother is/who he's with and don't have to worry

they can't clean the kitchen together cause it always ends with soapy bleach water being FLUNG at each other and Two-Bit having Ponyboy in a headlock, mopping the floor with his head

during one of these kitchen wars (it only happened maybe twice because Darry put an end to the madness real quick) Two-Bit might've cracked a glass plate over Ponyboy's head

he didn't mean to of course

he just brought it down a little too hard

he felt horrible and drove Pony to the hospital for the stitches

made jokes the whole way about how 'Darry was right, you do have a hard ass head'

they would totally take a cake decorating class together

Two-Bit would be salty because Pony's icing flowers look better than his

Ponyboy would just smirk and pat him on the back

for Two-Bit's next birthday though Pony made him a cute lil Mickey Mouse cake!
they also enjoy playing basketball one on one in the lot

Ponyboy jumps over Two-Bit's head like it's a hurdle to get the ball through the hoop

Two-Bit probably had the idea to get Ponyboy a telescope for his birthday one year and got all the guys in on it, they all pitched in but Two contributed the most money because he knows his baby bro loves looking at the sky and wanted to give him a special way to do just that
