"Perce! Patt! I'm home!" Remy called into his new apartment.

"Papa!" Patton giggled, running up and hugging his father.

"Hey Patt." Remy hugged his five year old son.

Percy walked in from the kitchen and kissed Remy, "Hey Rem, I have a surprise for you."

Remy smiled, "I do too."

"Really?" Percy kissed his boyfriend, "then you go first."

"No, no," Remy laughed, "You go."

Percy smiled softly and ran to the kitchen. Patton giggled and held onto Remy's legs. Percy came back with a box.

"Here." Percy handed the box over to Remy.

Remy laughed lightly and pulled off the ribbon, opening the box.

"A... new binder." Remy asked, holding up the fabric, "Perce what-"

Remy turned and froze. Percy was on his knee, holding a black, velvet box.

"Remy, I remember when you first came into my life three years ago. You were so scared and lost. I think I fell for you the moment we met, as cheesy as it sounds. You've grown so much since then and I love you so much, so," Perry opened the box, "Remy Kishu, will you marry me?"

Remy covered his mouth and nodded, tears filling his eyes, "yes. Yes yes, a thousand times yes!"

Percy got up and hugged Remy tightly. Remy kissed his now fiance, then Percy slipped the ring on Remy's finger.

"Now what was your surprise?" Percy asked, smiling.

Remy laughed, "well, I won't be able to use the binder."

Percy's happy face melted into concern, "what? Why? Are you okay?"

Remy nodded, "I'm fine. More than fine."

Remy pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to Percy. Percy read it, his eyes going wide.

"No way." Percy said.

Remy giggled and nodded.

Percy hugged Remy, smiling widely, "You actually got approved!"

Remy nodded, "I did! My surgery is scheduled for next month!"

"Are you gonna be my Daddy?" Patton asked Percy.

"If you want to call me that, kiddo." Percy smiled at the five year old.

Patton giggled, "okays!"
