"Minho, what are we to do?" Teresa talks down the phone, her other hand pulling on her hair.

"There's nothing we can do. You know that they were a mess together, it's best that they stay apart." the Asian responds, after a heavy sigh.

There's no doubt in knowing that both the blonde and brunette were inconsolable, but their friends knew that if they were to continue their relationship, it would just hurt even more. Neither one would leave their rooms nor the house and would act cold and closed off. For both Minho and Teresa, they felt that they were slowly losing them.

"I can't stand seeing him like this. He's my brother and I don't know how to help him."

Minho nods, knowing that she was right. No matter what they do, they can't help heal Thomas or Newt. They were perfectly wrong for each other and that's what broke them.

Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something that can help move at least one of the boys on.

"You keep trying. You'll get through to him soon." the boy encourages before ending the call.

"Hey Newt."

The response was silence, just as Minho expected as he walked over and sat on the edge of the bed with the blonde still in the same position as before - laying down with his head facing the ceiling.

Regardless, Minho pulls out a small marbled-patterned notebook and places it next to Newt. That got his attention as he moves from his position and reaches for the book, holding it as if it were glass. Tears began to brim his eyes as he takes in a deep breath before opening the book and turning its pages.

"I'll leave you with it." the Asian says before leaving the room.

If this wasn't going to knock some sense into his friend, he didn't know what would.

hopefully this is making a little bit more sense but we're slowly getting there (she says and the next chapter will probably explain the whole plot)
