Three years later

Lynndra’s POV

“Morning love” I heard a heavily accented Irish voice greeting me. I smiled and turned to face him. I gave him a gentle kiss and slowly sat up on my bed. I was on tour now with Zaina and we were thrilled with our success so we decided to do a worldwide tour for our fans, and we were currently in Ireland. Zaina had left early for breakfast as she always does and Niall had been coming to visit me in my room every morning for three days now and served me breakfast in bed that he had cooked for me. “This is lovely babe” I said as he passed me my breakfast. For today, he had prepared an Irish breakfast menu for me. It was a large cooked breakfast of meat, mainly bacon and sausages as well as eggs, vegetables and potato all fried in creamery butter. And it was all served with a generous helping of homemade Irish soda. I could only manage to eat half of the hearty meal while Niall had the rest. Then I got up and got myself quickly freshened up. I had a long night ahead and I had tons of things to get done before the concert tonight.

Jane’s POV

“Order up! Two Thailand Green Chicken Curry, nachos, boxing chicken, Caesar salad and chocolate muffins for dessert” James called out as he hung the order bill over the kitchen counter. I nodded and started to work on the boxing chicken while Gary who was now head of the kitchen started on the other dishes and assisted by Jenna, our new kitchen crew. My parents had officially retired now and I was in charge of running the business though they would occasionally come down to the restaurant to make sure things were running smoothly.

Harry and I had been spending time together more now ever since he helps out when he can with the baking in the kitchen. His specialty was cupcakes and of course I avoided stating in the menu that the cupcakes were baked by him. I didn’t want to have an overload of customers just ordering cupcakes just because it was made by Harry Styles. It would be good for the restaurant’s revenue, but it would surely put a strain on Harry and I didn’t want that to happen to him. It’s been over five years now since we’re together and our relationship was still under wraps but I was fine with it. My dad made a remark though to that, saying that a man shouldn’t be afraid to introduce me to the world as his girlfriend. I assured him that Harry would do so one day, but right now wasn’t the time. “You’ve been together for over five years now! How long do you have to wait?” my dad scoffed. I knew he meant well; and that he didn’t want me to be behind Harry’s shadow and all; but I understood why this had to be done. “Honey, it’s their decision. Don’t butt in!” my mom would often chide him. My dad would usually respond by huffing away as he indulges himself in his hobby, mainly gardening and photography. “Jane!” I heard a voice called out. I whirled around, still holding the chicken I was cutting and came face to face with James. He laughed and shook his head. “Your head still on Cloud 9 Jane?” he teased. I shrugged and placed the chicken back down on the chopping board. “What are you doing in here James? You’re supposed to be at the counter and keeping an eye on our customers” I said, as I pointed to the kitchen doors. “Harry sent this and asked me to pass it to you” he said as he passed me an envelope. “Thanks” I said and took it from him. James nodded and took off, returning to the counter outside. I quickly opened it and inside there was a ticket to see Grease musical in Piccadilly Theater tomorrow and attached to it was a handwritten note.

“Hello love! I know you’re probably busy right now cooking and all but I want to take you out tomorrow, just the two of us! I’ve already spoken to your parents and they agreed to let you go. I’ll pick you up at 11am. See you tomorrow! Harry xoxo”

I bit back a smile and put the ticket and note back into the envelope and put it in my pocket. I could hardly wait for tomorrow!
