Lynndra’s POV

As the last bell rang signaling lunch, I quickly went over to Jane.

Me: ‘Jane! Don’t forget okay? I’ve got to drop some books at the locker, I’ll meet you in the cafeteria,’ I said.

Jane: ‘Okay’, she said.

I rushed to my lockers and dropped off my books. I checked my hair and teeth in the mirror before heading towards the cafeteria. As usual, it was noisy; but more so now since everyone knew the first audition would be today after school. All the girls were dressed to kill; even the girls on the track team.

I looked down at my own outfit. *sigh* (They look way better than me, I thought sadly. How can I ever win Niall’s attention?). I sat at the first table I saw and waited for Jane. I scanned the crowd for her. I noticed a group of rather odd looking bunch of boys not far from me.

They were dressed in rather dark clothes; all of them had black or grey hoodies on, and wore sunglasses. ‘Weirdos’, I said to myself. (Who wears sunglasses indoors?). But for some reason, I found them rather interesting, so I stared at them. One of them, in a grey hoodie had piles of food in front of him; and he just kept on eating and eating it. (That guy can really eat. He’s almost like Niall in fact, I remarked). Suddenly the one in the grey hoodie was looking right at me. (Oops. Did he hear me calling them weirdos?) I fidgeted in my seat uncomfortably. He was still looking at me (practically staring I thought) and then he smiled.

(He has nice teeth, I remarked). ‘Nice teeth, a good appetite and...’, I said to myself.

(Wait a minute. Could it be? Could they be One Direction? I thought).

Niall’s POV

The lads and I decided to go to the school early instead of going there later in the afternoon. (Actually, Harry pestered us to come early; he couldn’t wait to see Jane again, I thought smiling).  We all had dressed rather odd though, so the fans wouldn’t recognize us.

As we entered the cafeteria, as we were the only ones there, I quickly ordered loads of food for me and the lads to eat while they grabbed a table. Just as I sat at the table with the food, I heard the bell rang and soon students started piling into the cafeteria. Luckily no one had recognized us yet, they just passed by our table without a second glance.

I was munching on some crisps when I saw her. (Lynndra!). I saw her glancing at our table with a peculiar look on her pretty face. I couldn’t help staring at her. I studied her face; she had rather long black hair that had been dip dyed in red or was it pink, I couldn’t tell from the distance. She had lovely eyes and beautiful lips. I saw her fidgeting in her seat.

(I must be making her uncomfortable). I smiled at her then I looked away and tried to concentrate on my food. (I wonder if Jane knows her, I thought).

Me: ‘Harry,’ I said slowly.

Harry: *texting* ‘Yes Niall?’, he said.

Me: ‘Are you going to meet Jane for lunch or later today?’, I asked.

Harry: ‘I might, if she’s free. She hasn’t replied my text yet’

Me: ‘Could you ask her if she knows her, *pointing to Lynndra*?’ ‘Her name is Lynndra’

Harry: ‘Sure, I will when she replies’, he said smiling.
