Zayn’s POV

Louis and I had just seen the girls, Andy and Zaina back to school. We would be meeting them later again once they had finished their classes. I had a good time, chatting with Zaina. She’s a lovely girl, I thought. Louis seemed to like Andy as well. I better remember to thank Jane later, I thought smiling. I might even give her the sneaky photo I took of Harry while he was sleeping. I laughed aloud.

“What’s so funny?” Louis said, giving me a look. I blushed. “Nothing” I muttered. He gave a smug smile. “Thinking about Zaina?” he teased. “I’m not telling you” I said, sticking my tongue out at him. He laughed. “Let’s head home now and rest” he said, “We have a long afternoon ahead of us”. I nodded and called Lonardo to pick us up.

Harry’s POV

I struggled to reel in my line. It’s got to be a big fish, I thought happily. I stole a look at Taegan and saw he was struggling as well. I turned my attention back to my line and gave one last pull. The fish came out of the water and landed near my feet. I quickly put it in the bucket and cut off the line. Then I sat on the ground, catching my breath. I turned towards Taegan. He had already put his fish into his bucket as well and was resting. I walked over towards him carrying my bucket.

“Time for the verdict” I said, smiling at him. He narrowed his eyes at me and nodded. We took our fish out and lay it on the ground next to each other. It’s the same size, I thought. At least, I think it was. I glanced at Taegan, waiting for his reaction. He studied the fishes carefully before turning to me. “It’s the same size” he said matter-of-factly. I nodded but didn’t say anything. He turned to me and gave me a small smile. “I guess we’re even mate” he said. I smiled. “Yeah, I guess we are” I said, “Let’s get going, it’s getting dark soon.” He nodded and we gathered out stuff and headed back to camp.

Jane’s POV

Where are Harry and Taegan? I thought. Lynndra and I had just finished making the fire and were waiting for them to arrive while Liam and Niall were sitting in their tents resting. I sat on the rock that we used as seats by the fireplace and propped my elbows on my knees. Lynndra came by and sat next to me. She put her arm around my shoulders. “Worried?” she asked. I nodded. “Yeah, a little” I said slowly. “C’mon. I’ve got something to show you” she said, as she stood up. I gave her a curious look as I stood up. “What is it?” I asked. “Come” she said, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards two huge trees. She pointed to a bag on the floor and asked me to open it. I kneeled down and opened the bag and found a hammock inside. I turned to her. “You brought a hammock!” I said, smiling. “Duh, that’s what it is” she said laughing. I swatted her arm playfully. “Let’s set it up now” she said, grabbing an end of the hammock. I nodded and grabbed the other end.

I was tying it onto a tree and was adjusting it when I felt someone hugging me from behind. I didn’t have to turn around to find who it was; I knew it was Harry. I smiled. “Hi Harry” I said, still adjusting the hammock. He turned me around and planted a kiss on my cheek. “Hi beautiful” he said smiling. I smiled back shyly. “Go on and prepare dinner” he said laughing. “I can take care of this” he added. “Yeah, go on Jane” another voice piped up. I whirled around to see who it was and saw that it was Taegan. He smiled. “Go cook us dinner woman” Taegan teased.

“Hey! Don’t talk to her like that!” I heard Harry yelling. Taegan smirked and adjusted the other end of the hammock. I turned to Harry and kissed his cheek. “It’s ok babe. He was just kidding you know” I whispered into Harry’s ear. Harry scowled. “He shouldn’t talk to women like that; and certainly not to you” he said darkly. Awh, he really respects woman. His mom and sister must be really proud of him, I thought wistfully. “Okay. Let’s not spoil the evening now” I said, giving him a quick hug. Harry managed a small smile and relaxed. “Okay” he said.
