Chapter 53: You Know, I Know

Lynndra’s POV

“Phase 2 done babe. See you soon! Niall xoxo”

I smiled and quickly replied his text. “C’mon Jane” I said. “Let’s get going. They’re waiting for us” Jane reappeared in the living room, frowning at me. “Why is that you can wear jeans and I have to wear a dress?” she asked. I bit my lip. I couldn’t tell her the reason, not just yet. I beckoned for her to join me on the couch. She sighed and reluctantly joined me. “Did you tell Harry yet that you’re moving to England?” I asked. Jane didn’t respond. She has to tell him sooner or later, I thought. I was sure he would be thrilled that she’ll be living so close to him. “You should tell him Jane. You know that right?”

“I will. I’ll tell him tonight” she replied. “I’m sleeping over at your house tonight right? I don’t want to be here alone” she went on. “Can Buster come as well?” I laughed. She always asked the silliest questions. “You don’t have to ask! Just come and stay. Buster is always welcomed as well” I said. She grinned and gave me a quick hug. I grabbed my car keys from the table. This is really convenient, I thought. Jane locked up the house as I turned the ignition on and waited for her inside the car. As soon as she was in the car, I drove off to where the others were waiting for her.

Niall’s POV

I ate my grilled chicken in the kitchen quietly while Louis, Zayn, Zaina, Andy were handling the barbeque outside by the pool while Liam and Jennifer were making the drinks on the other side of the pool I rinsed my plate quickly and put in the dishwasher before joining them outside. “Everything ready?” I asked, turning to Louis. “Yeah. Everything is in place” he replied, smiling. Andy hugged Louis’s arm. “I think what you guys are doing is great! Not to mention” Andy said, her voice trailing off. “Romantic!” Zaina exclaimed. Andy and Zaina both giggled and went off to join Liam and Jennifer on the other side of the pool.

 “Great. Now they’re probably going to expect the same out of us” Zayn joked. I laughed. Harry had put a lot of work into tonight’s surprise, I thought. He was upset that Jane would be leaving next weekend. He was happy that she would be attending our concert this weekend, which was still a few days away; but he was afraid he would be too busy after tonight as we had loads more rehearsals and sound check to do, before our concert. I guess he’s afraid she’s going to think that once she leaves, their relationship would be over. I was glad that Lynndra trusted and believed that I would never hurt and leave her. I couldn’t wait for her to arrive here for the barbeque.

I went back into the house and looked for Paul. I found him in the study upstairs. “Hey Paul!” I said as I came into the room. “Niall” he said, smiling at me. “Is there something wrong?” I shook my head. “I was just wondering how’s the plan of Operation Harry?” I joked. Paul laughed heartily. “Harry is really something ey?” he said. “I’ve already made arrangements and of course, Andy and Paul Chase the bodyguards will be with him all the time. Lonardo will stay here in case you lads need to go out or something” he went on.

“Sounds good” I said. I went to Harry’s room and found him adjusting his bow tie. I whistled. He whirled around with a surprised look on his face. He grinned when he saw it was me. “How do I look?” he asked, as he fixed his hair in the mirror. I walked towards him and stood behind him. “You look like you’re going to get married!” I teased. He laughed. “I want to look good for Jane” he said, smiling from ear to ear. I nodded. “We should get going now Harry” I said, as I walked out. “Don’t want to be late. Lynndra should arrive there any minute now” He gave one last look in the mirror before going down the stairs with me.

Soon he was in the car with Andy and Paul, our bodyguards. I watched them drove off before heading back into the house. I think I’ll make some nachos now, I said to myself as I stepped into the kitchen.
