Child of Zeus: My loft bed. It's got a few pillows and blankets, and it is right up against a window, so I can look out over our woods. It has cool old lamp and a small shelf for my favorite books and such and it's one of my favorite places.
Child of Hades: My drawers, because they're messy and cluttered but they have almost all my useful supplies, and also my family never dares to try to sort through them. Too chaotic.
Child of Poseidon: My bookshelf - it holds all the good books I own and it also has my collections of knives, arrows, and my dad's old handgun. It's pretty awesome and a little bit unusual for a bookshelf but it makes sense to me.
Child of Demeter: The quilt hanging on my wall. Made by my great-grandmother and great-aunts, it's a reminder that I have wonderful people who love me in my life.
Child of Ares: The ladder that leads up to my loft bed, it's wide and open and flat. I can hang off it upside down or jump off the top rung or just sit on a step and think.
Child of Athena: My desk. It's where I do all my writing and schoolwork, and it has my candles, posters, and trinkets from special times around it. I can literally spend all day at my desk and never get bored.
Child of Apollo: The dark blue blanket that hangs down from my loft bed and drapes over the chair behind my desk. It makes a little hiding place around my desk, and it's so soft. I can wrap it around myself when I sit there and feel safe and warm.
Child of Artemis: My closet, because it's a big mess except for one spot in the back with a bunch of cushions that I like to crawl into and sleep or read in. Also when someone comes looking for me, I can crawl out and go "...yesss?" in a Gollum voice.
Child of Hephaestus: My table - it's got a bunch of different projects and papers and ideas scattered across it, all covered by a blanket when I'm not using it so it doesn't look that messy.
Child of Aphrodite: My bulletin board. It's not very full, but it's got a bunch of notes from friends and pictures from old theatre days and small things that mean a lot to me alone.
Child of Hermes: My dresser, because most of it is a mess that only I can navigate, and also my bottom drawer is where I keep all my prank supplies. Even children of Athena have fun, y'know.
Child of Dionysus: Underneath my table. It's got a ton of old crap that I rarely ever use, but there's a space on one side where I can fit underneath and just chill there when I need privacy.
